WHAT WILL YOUR WALK WITH GOD LOOK LIKE TODAY?

“Enoch walked with God…”
— Genesis 5:24 KJV

Enoch’s life was characterized by faith in God and fellowship with Him. His testimony challenges us to consider whether our daily lives reflect a genuine walk of faith and obedience.

We cannot walk with God while clinging to the ways of the world. Let us seek to know Him, trust His Word, and faithfully obey His commands.

“The just shall live by faith.” — Romans 1:17 KJV

WORK HARD. SERVE FAITHFULLY. HONOR CHRIST.

Labor Day gives us a moment to appreciate the work God has given us to do. Whether you work with your hands, care for your family, serve others, or labor behind the scenes, your work can be an opportunity to glorify God.

Colossians 3:23 (KJV) says,
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”

Our worth isn't measured by our job title, our paycheck, or how much we accomplish. We were created to glorify God. Whatever work the Lord has placed before you today, do it faithfully and give Him the glory.

And remember, even when our earthly labor is finished, our labor for the Lord is never wasted.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV) reminds us,
“...be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

Lord, thank Thee for the strength and opportunity to work. Help us to labor faithfully, serve others with a willing heart, and honor Thee in everything we do. May our work be a testimony for Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Labor Day Challenge:
Whatever you do today, do it for the Lord. Work faithfully, encourage someone, and remember to thank God for the ability to serve.

🇺🇸 HAPPY LABOR DAY FROM BEULAH BAPTIST CHURCH! 🇺🇸

Today, we thank God for the ability to work, provide, serve, and be a blessing to others.

The Bible reminds us:

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” — Colossians 3:23 KJV

Whether you’re working with your hands, caring for your family, serving your community, or simply enjoying a day of rest, remember that our greatest purpose is to honor the Lord in all that we do.

May God bless the hands that work, the families that provide, and those who faithfully serve others.

SUNDAY DEVOTIONAL

What if the thing keeping you up at night is the very thing God is asking you to trust Him with?

We often spend so much time trying to fix everything, figure everything out, and carry everything ourselves that we forget who is truly in control.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 (KJV)

Being still doesn’t mean giving up. It means pausing long enough to remember that God is greater than the situation, stronger than the storm, and faithful even when we cannot see what He is doing.

God never asked you to carry tomorrow today. He asks you to trust Him.

Whatever you are facing today, take a moment to be still. Pray. Trust. Give it to the Lord.

God is still God—even when life feels uncertain.

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)

Today is a great reminder to put down the phones, step outside, enjoy God’s creation, and spend some time with the people He has blessed us with.

Whether it’s taking a walk, playing with the kids, enjoying the sunshine, or simply sitting outside and thanking God for another day—make some memories together!

“Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.” — Psalm 96:11 KJV

Call Upon the Name of the LORD

“And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.”
— Genesis 4:26 (KJV)

What a beautiful reminder as we come to the end of another week: we can always call upon the LORD.

When life is good, call upon Him.
When life is difficult, call upon Him.
When you have answers, call upon Him.
When you don't know what to do, call upon Him.

Prayer isn't just something we do when we need help. It is how we draw near to God, seek His will, thank Him for His goodness, and place our burdens in His hands.

Whatever you are facing today, don't carry it alone. Call upon the name of the LORD.

And as we look toward Sunday, we invite you to come worship with us! There is something special about gathering together with God's people, opening His Word, lifting our voices in worship, and encouraging one another.

Come as you are. Come with your burdens. Come with your praise. Most of all, come ready to seek the LORD.
