Happy Birthday to Bishop Nathan Carrell.
For 16 years he pastored in Carlsbad NM but returned to his home state of Georgia to pastor Monroe Apostolic Church in 1989. He remained as pastor there for 31+ years. He now serves the role of Bishop for MAC.
He has been a member of the ALJC since 1969.
In addition to pastoring, Bro. Carrell has served in several national and district offices of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ. He served as National Youth Secretary, Foreign Missions Director, Foreign Missions Secretary, Texas District Superintendent, Evangelist Director, Georgia District Assistant Superintendent, Georgia District Secretary and Georgia District Superintendent.

In Memory of Bro. William Clark
August 30, 1935 - February 27, 2010

Bro. Clark received the Holy Ghost in February 1967 at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Winder, GA where he was a member for forty-three years. He served in many capacities in the Winder church as Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and Elder.
He had a radio broadcast on a Winder radio station for thirty years. On every broadcast he told his radio audience how to be saved by repenting of their sins, being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and being filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
He was a member of the ALJC for almost 40 years. He served as Home Missions' Director and Foreign Missions' Director of the Georgia District.

In Memory of Rev. J.T. Payne born 109 years ago today, August 22, 1917.
Bro Payne was very instrumental in establishing churches in NE Georgia.
In 1935, the Winder Church of the Lord Jesus Christ was founded by Bro J. T. Payne. The Apostolic Church of Winder has been proclaiming the gospel for 90 + years.
In 1938 the Crawford Church of the Lord Jesus Christ was founded by Bro J. T. Payne. Crawford Pentecostal Church has been proclaiming the gospel for 88years.
In 1939-40 the Whitehall Church of the Lord Jesus Christ was founded by Bro J. T. Payne. Today there are 2 churches that can trace their history to the Whitehall church; New Life in Watkinsville and First Pentecostal Church in Athens.
Bro Payne became pastor of the Portedale Church in the mid 1940s. The church that Bro Moon pastors came from the Porterdale church, Also Bro Patterson was raised in the Porterdale church. Some from the Porterdale church went with him when he started the church in Conyers.
In 1948 Bro & Sis Grady Eberhardt were baptized in Jesus name by Bro Payne and received the Holy Ghost in Porterdale. In 1954 Bro Eberhardt became pastor of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Milstead where he pastored for nearly 48 years
A young man by the name of Charles Duke was baptized by Bro Payne and attended the church at Porterdale. Bro Charles Duke pastored in Gainesville for many years. This is the church in Oakwood, Pastor - Cameron Leppo and Bishop A.B. Stewart.
Pastor Billy Fowler received the Holy Ghost in the Whitehall Church and went on to start Faith Pentecostal Church of Athens.
There are untold thousands of souls that Bro Payne has had an impact on

In Memory of Bishop G. H. Hammond who was born 105 years ago today. August 3, 1921 – December 24, 2010
Bro. Grover Hubert Hammond was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ before the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ was formed. He became a Charter Member of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ after its formation. He was involved with the Georgia District since its beginning and served as Sectional Youth Director, District Secretary, Home Missions Director, Foreign Missions Director and District Chairman.
Bishop Hammond, noted for his humor, said that he served in every District office except Ladies Auxiliary President.
Bishop Hammond was loved by all who knew him.
