New Direction Church of CV New Direction Church of Cotton Valley is a local church body of believers that was organized in October of 2020, with twenty-four (24) original members.

Password: 21089 We were blessed to occupy our current location by Unity Baptist Church, also of Cotton Valley, LA. New Direction Church of Cotton Valley was founded by the original twenty-four (24) members after receiving a vision and

inspiration from God, directing them to move in a “new direction” in Christ. The 24 charter members spent months praying and developing a church body that is non-denominational, yet fulfilling God’s vision. The vision of New Direction Church is to lead people in a new direction to take their next steps toward Christ, in fellowship with others while serving God. New Direction Church was formed to not only worship God in a sanctuary, but to also reach out to the community. New Direction Church strives to be a place where people are inspired, motivated and productive.

Hey friends! We are having special guests at church next Sunday . . .Uncle Richards Puppets. This is an awesome presentation . . . He mixes Biblical lessons with music. Y'all come and bring your children/grandchildren! You will definitely enjoy it!!! (Some of you might remember his presentation several years ago!) EVERYONE INVITED and WELCOME!!!

Today we celebrated 5 years of hard work, faithfulness and dedication to God’s promises to us! New Direction may be young but we are strong in God’s word and allow Him to direct our lives, our hearts and actions. Thank you to Demonstration Church of Shreveport and thank you to all who came to help celebrate with us! A time was truly had!!

Join us as we share/host Unity in the Community at New Direction Church of CV tomorrow, May 30, 2026. Sunday School starts at 9:30 followed by brunch and Morning Worship at 11:00 a.m. Host pastor is Pastor Larry Melton and Reverend Cardell Morgan, pastor of Valley Peace Baptist Church, will bring the Fellowship Message. Pray that we see you there because God is already waiting for us to arrive!

Thank you, Sis. Beatha Brantley, for your inspirational and encouraging message yesterday as we recognized our students that transitioned from PreK/K (Noah Smith, pic), 5th (Knoah Smith, Kyler Gilbert), 8th, High School, and College (Charm Smith, Shunita Taylor). Her message encouraged us to not only to "Protect Our Citizenship Rights" on earth, but also in heaven! Thank you, Pastor and Lady Morgan for also joining us in worship and supporting Sis. Brantley. (Sorry, I didn't get pics of the other honorees)
