When I look around and see people who are truly, deeply hungering for God's Word, I see people who have experienced significant affliction.

They've lived a life of pain and suffering before coming to God, and they desire nothing more than to be in His presence and know His Word.

It's such a beautiful sentiment of how He takes us out of darkness and brings us into His light.

Who else felt conviction on this one?! When everything in us is screaming "no, this isn't me, don't even say that," it's pretty likely we're being rebellious against God.

And that's not to shame anyone - we're ALL guilty of it, and not one of us is above anyone else, especially on this matter.

But as followers, it's up to us hold each other accountable to live more like Yeshua. So how can you ask those you're close to for help in walking in righteousness instead of rebellion and stubbornness?

The only thing worth boasting about is our relationship with God. Not to say it's better than anyone else's relationship with Him, but that we love Him and walk in obedience with Him.

While this is talking about the nation of Israel, it's depicted as human, as any analogy would.

However, isn't this the truth of the way we lived as worldly individuals before coming to Torah? Unhealthy mindsets and attitudes, and hearts unwell? Even illness within our bodies can be from lacking spiritual wellness and the way it affects us physiologically.

But through God, our wounds and illness can be closed, bound, and soothed with His healing ointment! 🙌🏻

When we're feeling the weight of persecution, we can take comfort in knowing we can be redeemed - the price has already been paid. We will be given shalom and comfort, no matter the attacks, and know we will be delivered from the hands of oppressors.
