Hadith of the Day
Sahl ibn Hanif(رضي الله عنه) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
مَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الشَّهَادَةَ بِصِدْقٍ بَلَّغَهُ اللَّهُ مَنَازِلَ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَإِنْ مَاتَ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ
Whoever honestly asks Allah(سبحانه و تعالى) for martyrdom, Allah will give him the status of a martyr even if he dies in his bed.
سہل بن حنیف رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص سچے دل سے اللہ سے شہادت مانگتا ہے اللہ اسے شہید کا درجہ دے گا خواہ وہ اپنے بستر پر ہی مر ے۔

Hadith of the Day
Hasan ibn Ali(رضي الله عنه) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
دَعْ مَا يَرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لَا يَرِيبُكَ فَإِنَّ الصِّدْقَ طُمَأْنِينَةٌ وَإِنَّ الْكَذِبَ رِيبَةٌ
Leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt. Verily, truth brings peace of mind and falsehood sows doubt.
حسن ابن علی رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو چیز تمہیں شک میں ڈالے اسے چھوڑ دو اسکلئیےجو تمہیں شک میں نہ ڈالے۔ بے شک سچائی دل کو سکون دیتی ہے اور جھوٹ شک پیدا کرتا ہے۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، وَالْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، وَفِطْرٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ـ وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ الأَعْمَشُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَرَفَعَهُ حَسَنٌ وَفِطْرٌ ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ لَيْسَ الْوَاصِلُ بِالْمُكَافِئِ، وَلَكِنِ الْوَاصِلُ الَّذِي إِذَا قَطَعَتْ رَحِمُهُ وَصَلَهَا
Narrated By Abdullah bin 'Amr(رضي الله عنه): The Prophet(صلى الله عليه و سلم )said, "Al-Wasil(the one who keeps ties with relatives) is not the one who recompenses the good done to him by his relatives, but Al-Wasil is the one who keeps good relations with those relatives who had severed(cut off) the bond of kinship with him."
ہم سے محمد بن کثیر نے بیان کیا کہا ہم سے سفیان ثوری نے خبر دی انہوں نے اعمش اور حسن بن عمرواور فطربن خلیفہ سے ان تینوں نے مجاہد بن جبر سے انہوں نے عبد اللہ بن عمرو سے سفیان کہتے ہیں اعمش نے اس حدیث کو نبیﷺ تک مر فو ع نہیں کیا (بلکہ عبد اللہ بن عمرو کا قول بیان کیا اور حسن اور فطران دونوں نے مر فوع کیا کہ نبیﷺنے فر مایا ناطا جوڑنے والا وہ نہیں ہے جو بدلہ کر دے (احسان کے بدل احسان کرکے )بلکہ ناطا جوڑنے والا وہ ہے کہ جب کوئی رشتہ دار اس کا اس سے ناطہ قطع کرے تو وہ جوڑے ۔

Hadith of the Day
عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَتَى الرَّجُلُ الْقَوْمَ فَقَالُوا مَرْحَبًا فَمَرْحَبًا بِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ وَإِذَا أَتَى الرَّجُلُ الْقَوْمَ فَقَالُوا قَحْطًا فَقَحْطًا لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
Al-Dahhak bin Qays(رضي الله عنه) reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If a man comes to his people and they warmly welcome him, then he will be welcomed warmly on the Day he meets his Lord. If a man comes to his people and they coldly welcome him, then he will be welcomed coldly on the Day he meets his Lord.”
ضحاک بن قیس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو آدمی اپنی قوم کے پاس آئے اور وہ اس کا پرتپاک استقبال کریں، تو جس دن وہ اپنے رب سے ملے گا اس دن اس کا پرتپاک استقبال کیا جائے گا۔ اگر کوئی آدمی اپنی قوم کے پاس آئے اور وہ اس کا سرد مہری سے استقبال کریں تو جس دن وہ اپنے رب سے ملے گا اس کا سرد مہری سے استقبال کیا جائے گا۔

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اغْتَنِمْ خَمْسًا قَبْلَ خَمْسٍ شَبَابَكَ قَبْلَ هَرَمِكَ وَصِحَّتَكَ قَبْلَ سَقَمِكَ وَغِنَاكَ قَبْلَ فَقْرِكَ وَفَرَاغَكَ قَبْلَ شُغُلِكَ وَحَيَاتَكَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِكَ
Ibn Abbas(رضي الله عنه) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your illness, your riches before your poverty, your free time before your work, and your life before your death.”
ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”پانچ کا پانچ سے پہلے فائدہ اٹھاؤ: اپنی جوانی کا بڑھاپے سے پہلے، اپنی صحت کا بیماری سے پہلے، اپنی دولت کا اپنی غربت سے پہلے، اپنی فراغت کا اپنی مصرو فیت سے پہلے اور اپنی زندگی کا موت سے پہلے۔"
