Into His Hands

Psa 31:5 Into Your hand I commit, my spirit; You have redeemed me, O LORD God of truth. (NKJV)

Psa 31:5 Into Your hand I commit my spirit; I entrust You with my very being. You have redeemed me, You have rescued me and saved me O LORD God of truth, power and strength.
(OutCast Version)

Last words of Jesus:

Jesus quoted Psalm 31:5

Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, "Father, 'into Your hands I commit My spirit.' " Having said this, He breathed His last. (NKJV)

Commit or entrust, and place.

We see His complete trust in His heavenly Father. Jesus entered death in the same way He lived each day of His life, offering up His life as the perfect sacrifice and placing Himself in God's hands.

We should follow His example. Every day we should commit, entrust and place our spirit in the Fathers hands.

Start every morning with these words, "Father, into Your hands I commit, entrust and place my spirit."

Psa 31:5 Into Your hand I commit my spirit; I entrust You with my very being. You have redeemed me, You have rescued me and saved me O LORD God of truth, power and strength.

Another Brick in the WALL

I build my wall higher and higher.
Brick by brick it gets taller.

Many people build walls of separation. To divide them from Jesus. To keep them from salvation and forgiveness.
Each brick is a sin, a mess up and mistake.
We can build walls to keep Papa out, but He can still get in. A wall can't keep Him out. A wall can't keep Him away.
When we mess up, we say, “All in all, it's just another brick in the wall.”

Rom 8:38, 39 I am convinced, I am more than positive that neither death nor life's struggles, nor heaven's angels nor hell's demons, nor present mistakes and mess ups nor future mess ups, nor evil powers that attack, nor the highest high nor deepest low nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

1j) bad, evil, wicked (ethically)

1j2) deeds, actions

1Th 5:22 Avoid every appearance of evil. (TPT)
1Th 5:22 Abstain from every form of evil. (NKJV)

David Guzik Commentary Abstain from every form of evil: When the testing is made, any aspect of evil must be rejected. This includes evil that may come with a spiritual image.
i. “The term form (eidous) literally means ‘that which is seen,’ the external appearance. It points to the external form in which evil presents itself... They are to shun evil in whatever form or appearance it may present itself.” (Hiebert)
“The meaning will be ‘evil which can be seen,’ and not ‘that which appears to be evil.’” (Morris)
The question is, What does evil look like?
If wearing all black is evil, then Johnny Cash was very evil.
If wearing white face paint is evil, then Mimes are evil.
If wearing chains is evil, then Mr. T is evil.
If having tattoos is evil, then most of the Navy and the Marines are evil.
Sounds ridiculous, right? That's because it is.
You cannot tell if someone is evil by what they wear.
Anton LaVey - author of the Satanic Bible, Aleister Crowley - named himself To Mega Therion 666 (The Great Beast 666), and Adolf Hi**er, these three men wore suits and were extremely evil. Most pe*****les' wear khakis and polos, women who gossip and worry, wear dresses and yoga outfits.
So,

1Th 5:22 Avoid every appearance of evil. (TPT)
1Th 5:22 Abstain from every form of evil. (NKJV)
Jesus said:

Mat 7:15, 16 "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
"You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? (NASB)
2Co 11:14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. (NKJV)
Satan can masquerade as an angel of light. False teachers of the Word can look like innocent sheep. Satan can appear as a clean cut “Christian” and no one will ever know until they see his actions. You can't go by looks.
So, what does evil look like? Evil and wicked can wear suits and khakis. Evil can run a multi-million a dollar company or stand behind a pulpit.
1Sa 16:7 The LORD doesn't see things the way people see them. People judge and evaluate and determine by peoples outward appearance ( how they dress, and makeup, and hair), but the LORD looks at the heart, the real person."
(OutCast Version)

What does evil really look like?
Before Satan was Satan, he was Lucifer one of the top angels in Heaven and was beautiful. The scriptures never mentions that he became an ugly creature with horns when he fell and became Satan.

2Co 11:14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. (NKJV)

So, when Satan comes to man, he comes to him in beauty and innocence.
The description of demons can be found in the book of Revelation.

Rev 16:13, 14 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. (NKJV)

These are the spirits of the demons coming out of beast of the tribulation period. They resembled frogs.
Everything we see about Satan and demons is all Hollywood. And that is the great deception. To make “evil” scary and grotesque. The end result of evil is scary...it's death.
Satan uses beauty, fun, and logic to trick people into following him.
Evil is not hideous looking. That is the end result of evil.
A lot of the time it is attractive on this side of life. But, once we step into eternity it becomes horrific, hideous, and painful.
And there is the deception. To make anything that is different evil.
A person wears a mask...that's evil. Absolutely not.
A person likes to wear black...that's evil. No it is not.
A person has tattoos...that's evil. No.
Evil in man comes from the heart.
Judging someone...is evil.
Condemning someone...is evil.
Gossiping about others...is evil.
Falsely accusing someone...is evil.
Criticizing to hurt someone...is evil.
Wearing a masquerade mask is not evil.
Nor, is wearing black and white face paint evil.
Wearing all black is not evil.

Portraying demons and Satan as scary, hideous creatures is all made up to keep us from seeing how these creatures are really luring us away from God.
Nowhere in scripture does it describe Satan and his demons as hideous creatures with fangs. But, quite the opposite. But they are described as an angel of light and fluffy sheep. And that's how they will trick those who are not paying attention.

A plan before time began

2Ti 1:9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, (NKJV)

2 Timothy 1:9 Father God has saved us and called us to be His with a most holy calling, not because of any good thing we have done, but according to His own purpose, His own plan and His blessed grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus long before time began. (OutCast Version)

Before God called time to be, He had a plan and a purpose for us. And His plan and purpose were full of blessed grace.
No matter how off track we get, His plan stands. And His grace is eternal.

My God is a Chaser

God is always going after people. Looking for the lost to save them. He is the only God that chases after the people that He loves. And, He loves that world so, that means everyone in it.

He started chasing us from the beginning of time. In Genesis 3 God begins His chase by calling out to Adam saying, “Adam, where are you?”

Gen 3:9 Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?" (NKJV)

In Luke 15:3-10 Jesus tells the story of the shepherd that will leave the 99 sheep to chase after the lost one. This is to demonstrate what He does to us.

In Luke 19:10 Jesus declares He came to find the lost and to save them.

Luke 19:10 The Son of Man came to look for and to save people who are lost." (CEV)

Luke 19:10 The Son of Man came to this world looking for and to chase down the lost ones to save them from destruction. (OutCast Version)

Luk 16:15 And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. (NKJV)
Luk 16:15 So Jesus addressed them directly. “You always want to look spiritual in the eyes of others, but you have forgotten the eyes of God, which see what is inside you. The very things that you approve of and applaud are the things God despises. (TPT)

Luke 16:15 And Jesus said to them, "You are those who try to look righteous and holy before men, but God knows your hearts, the real you. For what is most important to people is meaningless in the sight of God.

1Sa 16:7 For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." (NKJV)
1Sa 16:7 The LORD doesn't see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." (NLT)

1Sa 16:7 The LORD doesn't see things the way people see them. People judge and evaluate and determine by peoples outward appearance ( how they dress, and makeup, and hair), but the LORD looks at the heart, the real person."
(OutCast Version)

God looks past the three piece suits, the khaki pants and polo shirts and sees the real person. He sees the evil within. Just as He looks past the white and black makeup, the purple hair and black clothes and sees the His child. He sees His flawless priceless special possession.

A story:
Three people walk into a Church. The first has on khaki pants and a pastel green polo shirt. Short neatly combed hair and cleaned shaved. The second man walks in with his girlfriend both are wearing all black with chains and studs. Both wearing black nail polish and black lipstick. The girl had black and purple hair. One side long the other side shaved.
To the people in the Church judging has already started. One is accepted the others rejected. Strictly on appearance. The thing is, is that the man in khaki's is a sexual predator and pe*****le, and the goth couple have a deep relationship with Jesus. But to man, it's all about appearance. It's all about the clothes and make-up. To God, it's all about the heart condition.
What the Church holds as important is meaningless to God.

Judging by appearance

My post a few days ago was about the condition of the heart is more important than what we look like on the outside. Well I had a couple of people that didn't agree with that.
The scriptures are very clear on this.

Jesus said,
John 8:15 "You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. (NKJV)

John 8:15 "You judge and decide in your own reasoning and not mine the fate of others; I judge absolutely no one. (OutCast Version)

John 7:24 "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment." (NKJV)

Joh 7:24 Do not decide who or what someone is by their outward appearance but, instead decide
by God's standards of grace, mercy, love, and truth.
(OutCast Version)

1Sa 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." (NKJV)

1Sa 16:7b The LORD doesn't see things the way people see them. People judge and evaluate and determine by people's outward appearance (how they dress, and makeup, and hair), but the LORD looks at the heart, the real person."
(OutCast Version)

2Co 10:7 Do you look at things according to the outward appearance? If anyone is convinced in himself that he is Christ's, let him again consider this in himself, that just as he is Christ's, even so we are Christ's. (NKJV)

2Co 10:7 Why do you look at things by their outward appearance? Why? If anyone is believes beyond a shadow of a doubt in himself that he belongs to Christ, let him again examine this, that just as he belongs to Christ, even so we are Christ's as well.(OutCast Version)

A comment I received on my post was, people do judge by appearance. This is true , but sad. This is expected from the lost world, but shouldn't be from the Believing ones.
No matter what a persons attire is, we all look like the world by our clothes. It's our attitude, our actions, our words, our spirit, our belief and trust in Jesus Christ that makes us different from the world.
Can we tell from a distance if a farmer is a believer or not? No. Not until we talk to them.

Can we tell if a man wearing a suit is a Pastor, a lawyer, a CEO, an illegal drug manufacturer or a pe*****le? We can't tell just by his attire.

Can we tell if the woman wearing a conservative dress is a school teacher, a pastors wife, a counselor or maybe a p**n star or pr******te?

The man wearing the cowboy hat and boots might be a bar hopping rodeo redneck or maybe a mentor for at risk kids.

The couple wearing all black with white face make-up and black lipstick and eyeliner, with tattoos and body piercings all over them are missionaries to the lost in the Gothic community.

Do not judge by appearance. The fruit they produce will tell you who they are.
Their actions, words and spirit will reveal all.
Are they encouraging, inspiring and lifting up fellow believers?
Are they leading the lost to the Lord?
Or, are they criticizing, judging, condemning and gossiping?

Mat 7:17 "Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. (NKJV)

Mat 7:20 "Therefore by their fruits you will know them. (NKJV)

Mat 7:20 "So then, you will know them by the things they say and by the things they do and their very attitude.
(OutCast Version)

Just because we don't like how someone dresses does not make it wrong or them wrong. We are to Accept and receive one another as Christ accepted us with all our differences and faults.

Gal 5:15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another! (NKJV)

Gal 5:15 But if you keep on criticizing and trying to prove how wrong each other are over things you don't like and agree with, you’re acting like ferocious beasts trying to destroy and devour one another! And that's what will happen! Stop it!

I am
Unworthy to be hated as Jesus was and is hated.

I am
Unworthy to receive His love and grace.

But, I'm glad He gives it all.

In the Apocryphal book "The Acts of Peter", Peter makes this request about his coming crucifixion,
“I beseech you the executioners, crucify me thus, with the head downward and not otherwise.”

Jesus said,
Mat 10:38 "And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. (NKJV)

Mat 10:38 "And the person who refuses to take up his cross and follow in My steps is not worthy of Me at all. (OutCast Version)

Peter took his cross but, still didn't feel worthy to be crucified upright.

I believe the inverted cross is a symbol of unworthiness to be called a child of God.
I will let the satanist believe what they will.
The inverted cross existed long before Anton Zsandor LaVey (author of the Satanic Bible and founder of the first Church of Satan) took it to be his.

I am unworthy of the love of God.

Paul wrote:
1Co 15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. (NKJV)

All that I have done, for all that I have said. For all of my evil thoughts.
I am unworthy to be called a Segullah (A special treasured possession) of Father God.
And yet He wants me and loves me and calls me His.

Peter felt he was unworthy to die in the same manner as Jesus. Peter asked to be crucified Upside down.

In the Apocryphal book "The Acts of Peter", Peter makes this request about his coming crucifixion,
“I beseech you the executioners, crucify me thus, with the head downward and not otherwise.”

The inverted cross or the Cross of Peter is a symbol that symbolizes that we know we are unworthy of the mercy, grace, forgiveness and the love of God.

The satanist took the inverted cross for Satan but, it belonged to God long, long ago.

Unworthy Intro

In the Apocryphal book "The Acts of Peter", Peter makes this request about his coming crucifixion,
“I beseech you the executioners, crucify me thus, with the head downward and not otherwise.”

Peter did not feel worthy to be crucified upright like Jesus was. So Peter was crucified upside down.

The inverted cross was a symbol for unworthiness, not for Satan. It didn't become a symbol for Satan until the 1960's with the book, the Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey was published.
Now this symbol represents Satan. Not to me it doesn't, It represents Unworthiness to be called a Child of God to me.

1Co 15:9 For I am the very least of the followers of Christ, and I am unworthy to be called a follower, because I persecuted God's church. (OutCast Version)
