If a stranger asked me to describe the ministry of Haven for the Heart in a single sentence, I would explain it in this way:

“Haven exists to encourage, refresh and equip those who are devoted to pouring into the lives of others for the sake of Jesus; who will in turn equip others to do the same.”

Since 1992 when Haven for the Heart first began, one driving force behind all aspects of what we

do through Haven, is the desire to offer a place where individuals, couples or ministry teams can problem solve and strategize about the obstacles they are facing in their ministries. Just as important, and many times more important, is offering a safe setting to wrestle with other issues life may be throwing their way. The combination of all of this is the vision of Haven of the Heart. Over the past 27 years this is what has excited us about opening our home and our lives to the ministry of Haven for the Heart.
