Good afternoon. Bay Life Baptist has finally raised almost enough to purchase the materials to replace the church roof damaged in the hurricane. Rather than continue to raise for a local installer, we are seeking to bring in teams to help install the roof. However, due to challenges in obtaining materials, we do not yet have specific dates. This email then is just to begin to gauge interest. Let us share the following details.
We are going to need between 3 and 4 straight weeks of workers with about 6-10 workers per week. The people who come (men or women) need to be able to work at height and have either good experience or working knowledge of metal roof installation (specifically standing seam if possible). We can take 1 from a church or several. The earliest start time would be about Augst 22 running through the end of September.
The cost of the trip would be for lodging, food, and transportation about $200 per day (plus the cost of your ticket). Any funds you can supply in addition to get the rest of the materials is appreciated.
