St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Bexley, Ohio

We are so grateful for Missioner Derrick and his friendship with our community!

St. Alban's, Bexley hosted the Rev. Derrick Fetz (Missioner for Congregational Vitality) last weekend, where he preached and led adult formation hour.

Derrick shared, "This multigenerational and multicultural congregation continues to grow spiritually and numerically. They have a phenomenal formation program for all ages, emphasizing the importance of lifelong discipleship...Shared ministry between the Rev. Beth Turner and the lay leadership is remarkable and will be fundamental as they begin discernment about what God is up to next at St. Alban’s. Their worship service was joyous, eclectic, mystical and relational all at the same time. I thoroughly enjoyed the range of hymnody beautifully led by their choir. Thank you for such a glorious visit, Pastor Beth and St. Alban’s!"

This past Saturday, several Vestry members: Russ Rosler (Senior Warden), Rachel Barnes, Gary Moreland, and Sal Piazza attended a diocesan congregational development day for leaders held at St. Mark's, Upper Arlington.

Sal Piazza, Turkey Trot Coordinator, and Pastor Beth had an opportunity to present Bishop White with a TT medal and t-shirt, which she graciously accepted.

We'd love to have her run the 5K on Thanksgiving Day, and she said she might!

Pictured here are Pastor Beth (L), Bishop White (C), and Sal Piazza (R).

Children are welcome to worship! Each child will be given a flower in celebration of Easter. They are invited to carry it in the procession as the final hymn is sung. The annual egg hunt will take place on the church grounds immediately following the service.
