St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Parish St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Parish is more than just a name, a location on a map, or just a group of buildings. These programs are here because St. Matthew.

As a community of believers who know, love, and serve Jesus Christ, we celebrate the sacramental life of the Church, proclaim the saving message of Christ, and share the love of the Lord, especially with the least, the poor, and the suffering. We are a family of faith made up of individuals that love God and their fellow human beings. This is evident by the wide variety of ministries, services, and outreach programs sponsored by our parish. Matthew parishioners have a strong commitment to their faith and their neighbors. This commitment to God and family is the lifeblood of St. Today, we are a vibrant parish community of over 2,200 families and growing. Our school, religious education program, and faith-based initiatives are among the best in the Diocese. And we are proud of our continued improvement of our campus and facilities. November will be here before you know it! All Saints Day falls on a Sunday this year, so our All Saints Mass schedule is our normal Sunday schedule of Saturday, 5 pm, and Sunday at 8 am, 10 am, 12 pm.

On All Souls Day, Monday, November 2, we pray in a special way for the souls of all who have died. Our Mass of Remembrance is November 2 at 7 pm.

Our Book of Remembrance is in the Gathering Space for the rest of October. Please add the names of deceased friends and family so that we can pray for them on November 2 and throughout the month.

Our online CORDA Candle fundraiser for Beloved, our women's ministry, is now open! From October 17-19, simply order CORDA's handcrafted Catholic candles online via our special link and 25% of your order will be donated to support Beloved Women's Ministry, including our women's retreat, mornings of reflection, and other opportunities that help the women of St. Matthew grow in faith and community.

CORDA's Catholic candles translate the lives of the saints into scents, and help you create a place of peace and prayer in your home. The link to order is under Quick Links on our home page (stmatthew(dot)net) and in the LinkTree in our bio. We'll also have people at the Welcome Center after Masses this weekend assisting with orders.

So... you know how we send out a weekly email newsletter every Friday afternoon at 4-ish? Last week, our "open rate" was wayyyyy down, so we immediately concluded that no one loves us and that you're passive-aggressively leaving us on read.

Then we remembered that (a) this isn't a group chat, (b) we're not insecure teenagers navigating the stresses of high school, and (c) we're not huddled around a coffee table with our friends obsessing about this.

Anyway, we're pretty sure that what's actually happening is that our emails are getting sent to spam for a lot of you, so do us a favor and check your spam filter.

And if you aren't getting our emails at all (and never have), maybe sign up? It'll make us feel better about ourselves. :) You can add yourself to several different email groups at stmatthew(dot)net/email.

Our Book of Remembrance is in the Gathering Space for the rest of October so that all may add the names of loved ones who have passed. We will pray for these family members and friends at our annual Mass of Remembrance on All Souls Day (November 2, 7 pm) and during the rest of November.
