O Holy God,
Grow in us
The freedom of Christ
And let it ring out
Through our lives.

If there be freedom
Let it be a freedom for

A life more giving
A joy born of justice
A festival of flourishing
Pausing the narrative
Of scarcity and fear,
Giving space for Your
Vision of peace to rise.

If there be freedom
Let it be a freedom for

A wonder of heart
Open to the whole story
Of all Your people,
Especially those overlooked
In endless rehearsal
Of incomplete histories.

If there be freedom
Let it be a freedom for

A life released from ourselves
In order to encounter
You in everyone
Formed by openings
Fashioned by Your motion
Of life-lifting Spirit
Creating a space and place
For each and every voice
To join Your chorus of delight.
