Day 39: Today's scripture reading is Romans 8:18 "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." Today's prayer: We ask that God will enliven and make clear the joy and the glory of God's deliverance and of the final end. We also ask that God will use this truth to help everyone realize how small their current troubles truly are. Also, we ask that God will use the truth of the final end to encourage the church to spread the God's Word to all people.

Day 38: Today's scripture reading is Isaiah 41:13 "For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." Today's prayer: We ask that God would remind us to run to Him when we are afraid. Also, we ask that God will take away our fear. We also ask that God would take away the fears of the church so that they will not be scared to spread the Word of God.

Day 37: Today's scripture reading is Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Today's Prayer: We ask that God would remind us of His love so that we will be given new hope and strength. We also ask that God would show the church how to show the world the love of God.

Day 36: Today's scripture reading is Psalm 40:1-2 "I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand." Today's prayer: We ask that God would teach us how to wait patiently. Also, we ask that God would show the church how to be patient and to wait for God before decisions are made.

Day 35: Today's scripture reading is Psalm 37:25 "I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread." Today's prayer: We ask that God would remind us of how good He has been to us so that we would have many things to praise God for. Also, we ask that God would provide for our needs. We also ask God would continue to provide for all of the church's needs so that the Word of God can continue to spread to all the people of the world.

Day 34: Today's scripture reading is Romans 8:21 "The creation itself will be liberated from its bo***ge to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God." Today's prayer: We ask that God would help us to keep our minds focused on the end that He has planned from the beginning and that with this in mind, our current problems would seem small. Also, we ask that God would help the church to tell the world about the future God has planned and that the church would use this truth to encourage them to bring more people into God's kingdom.

Day 33: Today's scripture reading is Psalm 32:7 "You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance." Today's prayer: We ask that when trouble comes, God would remind us to run to Him and take refuge in Him instead of ourselves. We also ask that God would teach the church to rely on Him and not on their own power or resources.

Day 32: Today's scripture reading is Romans 8:1 "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Today's prayer: We ask that God would give us the confidence that we are free from condemnation and guilt. We also ask that God would make the church a place where people who are in Christ Jesus do not feel guilty or hated, but instead feel loved and welcomed.

Day 31: Today's scripture reading is John 13:34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." Today's prayer: We ask that God would teach us how to love another as He has loved us. We also ask that God would help us love those who are challenging to love. We also ask that God would teach the church to love and that He would make it a place where the love of God abounds.

Day 30: Today's scripture reading is Psalm 32:5 "Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not cover up my iniquity. I said 'I will confess my transgressions to the Lord'-and you forgave the guilt of my sin." Today's prayer: We ask that God would convict us of our sin and teach us how to confess our sins and repent. We also ask that God would forgive the sins of the church and that He would teach the church to repent and become the place He wants it to be.

Day 29: Today's scripture reading is Luke 4:18-19 "The spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of the sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." Today's prayer: We ask that God would give us His spirit and anoint us to preach the good news to all people. We also ask that God would anoint the church with His presence and that He would use the church to spread the Word of God and to achieve His will.
