THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!
October has been designated as Pastor/Clergy Appreciation Month.

I'd like to take a moment to recognize you for the person and service you bring and give to the communities you serve.

We each have unique gifts, callings and abilities, and yet we serve the same Christ. The size of your church or ministry may be different but are called by and empowered by the same Holy Spirit.

You matter! Who you are and where you are have real value. That is why you were called and sent out into the world for His purpose and glory!

I take this moment to say, THANK YOU, for being willing to extend yourself for and to the world into which we are called to serve.
Love you and Thank God for the privilege of serving alongside you.

As you prepare to stand today:
As we prepare for worship, this Lord's Day remember, Your Voice matters!!!

Our God has not designated one or two persons, who alone have His heart and mind, YOU too have a place and a part in His desire to spread the Gospel to a hurting, wounded and needy world.
Your voice is needed, your words and thoughts carry weight! God has not designed a few of importance and everyone else is secondary, NO!

Allow the Holy Spirit to inspire and bring life to those you are called to serve and have influence with. The Holy Spirit wants to speak to a broken, wounded, hurting world around us; BE THAT VOICE! Let Him do what He does best and that through the person you are!

YOUR VOICE; HIS WORD, AMEN!!!

Especially today, in light of the events of last week, we (you and I) must help our world, in the words of John 12:20, 21: "Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the festival. They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, with a request. “Sir,” they said, “we would like to see Jesus.”

Where is Christ? We need him today more than ever in my lifetime. Anger, frustration, hate, etc., are no replacement for the HOPE that Jesus is and brings to our confused and often angry times.

You and I have been commissioned to share the light and hope to our times, which is in and through Jesus. The Holy Spirit has been sent and is present to enable you to speak a word to the troubled waters that surround us, as Jesus did when he arose in Matthew 8:23–27 and Mark 4:35–41.

Come Holy Spirit, Amen!!!
