Created by Allison Kenny, Activate Your Divine Feminine® Bellydance Meditation has grown from a few classes in San Francisco to workshops in the Bay area, then Columbus, Ohio, and is now set to reach a global community through online offerings.
This is fast becoming a new and empowering “radiance through movement” modality, with a planned workshop retreat network of over 100 facilities, thousands of at-home/on-line participants and with a goal to empower over 500 trained facilitators to lead classes and workshops in over 40 countries.
The purpose of Bellydance Meditation is easy. If inspired, it will help you to more fully realize your authentic self and embody your sacred sensuality.
At the heart of Bellydance Meditation is your essence. In the truest version of yourself, there are no words, only movement expressions. Your heart radiates, your spine illuminates, your hips shimmy and your eyelids fall.
The essence of you is music, my love, so all of us can do it; it is our birthright. These movement expressions, practiced as honoring and healing rituals by our ancient mothers, provide the keys to opening our energetic gateways of body, mind and soul.
In Bellydance Meditation classes and courses, we use each of the seven major chakras as guides, inviting a connected way to reconnect you with your joy, femininity and sensuality. Using arousing music that evokes your divine feminine, we gather, wind and twist our way to a more fuller expression of ourselves.
Bellydance Meditation can be a way for you to joyfully affirm who you truly are. Your joy is felt. Your sensuality is honored. Your femininity has permission to be.
The more you practice Bellydance Meditation, the more you will start to notice your radiant essence as both an “integrator” and an “attractor”. This allows for the mystery in your life to take hold and for you to feel more confident, trust in your intuition, and celebrate your innate beauty.
