Pizza and Games Night!

Join the Young at Heart group on Saturday night, August 8th for pizza and games. We will meet in the Bonus Room near the Café area of the Commons at 5:30 and enjoy great pizza from the Naz Cafe together (provided by Young at Heart). Feel free to bring a favorite cookie or dessert to share if you want. Then stay and play cards or games with us and enjoy the fellowship and laughter. Or, if you are not a game person, that’s OK! Just hang out with us and enjoy the fellowship. It’s a wonderful way to get to know people. A “small group” in a big church. Sign up in the lobby on July 26th or August 2nd.

Picnic at the shelter house

Join us on July 11th for a picnic in our beautiful Naz Shelter House! This year we will celebrate the 250th year of freedom in the wonderful USA. So, feel free to wear your Red, White and Blue. We will gather at 1:00 p.m. for some great potluck picnic food and fellowship. Ham and turkey sandwiches will be provided. Bring a dish to share. And after lunch, join in the fun as we sing along with the wonderful group Side by Side, who will include some great patriotic songs to celebrate the season. Sign up in the lobby on June 28th and July 5th.



Directions: The shelter sits behind the school on the back of the property. From the SOUTH entrance, simply follow the road around to behind the brick buildings at the back of the church. You can’t miss the shelter house. Parking close by.

Hi all! Young at Heart is staying busy! Announcing our next adventure. On June 25th, we will meet at the Olde Dutch Restaurant in Logan, OH at 11:30 a.m. for lunch together in their private dining room. The cost of their wonderful buffet is $19, which includes drink. $15.49 if you just want water. After lunch, we will enjoy the shops onsite or go on your own to see some of the sites in that beautiful part of Ohio. Then, we will meet at 2:00 p.m. at the Nazarene Retreat Center and Campgrounds to take a private tour of the new buildings and cabins. And we will learn about the annual "Camp Meeting" evenings in July where you will hear great speakers and worship together with people from all over Ohio. Sign-ups for the trip will be on Sunday, May 31st and June 7th in the lobby. At sign-ups we will have a way to let us know if you need a ride or can offer a ride. We will do our best to make sure everyone can go. AND, do NOT forget about the all-church sin

All Church Sing Along

(Sponsored by Young at Heart)

Join us on Sunday evening, May 31st at 6:00 p.m. in the Choir room at the Naz for an amazing evening of praise and worship music and fellowship. Everyone, of all ages, is welcome! We will enjoy singing the wonderful praise songs and hymns and worship choruses that we all know. Our wonderful song leaders will be Donna Baker accompanied by Brad Landis. Come ready to sing with us! Then after our time of worship, we will break up and share a time of fellowship and conversation with each other as we enjoy some cookies before going home.

Look for the Young at Heart flag marking the side door entrance to the choir room from the south parking lot. A much shorter walk. 😊

Let’s Do Lunch!

Join us as we get together for lunch at the wonderful (and historic) Ann and Tony’s Restaurant located at 211 E. Main Street in West Jefferson. We will share fellowship and laughs as we gather in a private room in the restaurant and enjoy ordering from their wide selection of menu items. We will meet there at 12:00 p.m. for lunch on Saturday, June 13th. At sign-ups, you can let us know if you need a ride or can provide a ride. We will do our best to make sure everyone can get there. Sign-ups will be on May 24th and 31st in the lobby. Seating in the private room is limited to the first 40 people, so be sure to sign up. Hope you can join us!

Back by Popular Demand – Progressive Euchre

We have planned three Progressive Euchre games over the next few months. The first one is coming up on Monday, May 11th. We will gather in the Commons area near the Café at 1:00 p.m. to play. Come join us for a great opportunity to get to know some new people and share laughs and fellowship. Bring your own drink and feel free to bring a snack to share if you like. The Café will be open until 2:00 if you want to purchase drinks or lunch. See you there.
