WE LOVE CHILDREN! We want you to feel comfortable keeping your children with you during the worship services. In fact, we ask them to come forward for a children's sermon each week. We encourage you to grab a few books or a Worship Activity bag for your children, located just outside the parlor or the sanctuary doors. We also offer nursery care for ages infant to five years each Sunday morning, which allows you to worship and participate in the education and fellowship hour as your children enjoy time with others their age. WE ARE A STEPHEN MINISTRY CONGREGATION
Stephen Ministers are congregation members trained to offer Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties.

🌈What a joyful day at Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival and March!

Overbrook members joined thousands of neighbors downtown on Saturday to celebrate love, diversity, and the dignity of every person.

All day long, we proudly carried a message that reflects who we are as a church: love, empathy, compassion, inclusion, justice, and kindness.

A special shout-out to Pastor Bill, whose arms must have been exhausted after holding the LGBTQIA+ flag high for the entire march!

Thank you to everyone who marched, staffed the festival booth, cheered from the sidelines, or stopped by to say hello. We were honored to be part of this celebration of community and hope.

Pride weekend may be over, but our commitment is not. We'll continue to champion the rights, dignity, and well-being of all neighbors, no matter who they are, where they're from, or whom they love. 🌈

Today we pause for Juneteenth, a day of profound significance in our nation’s history. Overbrook Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) observes Juneteenth as a day of remembrance and reflection, a day of rejoicing yet also repentance.

Juneteenth honors the historical end of slavery in the United States but also stands as a reminder that there's still more to do in our ongoing commitment to justice and equality. Our recognition of Juneteenth isn't only a nod to the past, but also a dedication to the future.

As we remember the struggles and victories of those who came before us, we reaffirm our commitment to building a community that reflects the love, inclusiveness, and justice that our faith calls us to embody.

🏳️‍🌈 See You at Pride! 🏳️‍🌈

We're excited to once again participate in Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival and March as part of the Presbytery of Scioto Valley.

On Saturday, June 20, you'll find us in the Pride Parade and at our booth in the Pride Festival at Goodale Park. Be sure to stop by the booth for a special glitter blessing! We can't wait to celebrate life and love alongside thousands of neighbors from across Central Ohio.

At Overbrook, every person is valued and welcomed, because every person is loved by God. Pride is an opportunity to celebrate the beautiful diversity of our community and to share a message of love, inclusion, and belonging.

If you're attending Pride, be sure to look for us along the parade route and stop by our festival booth to say hello. We'd love to meet you!

🎶 A Musical Offering: The Ohio State University Alumni Band 🎶

Mark your calendar for this Sunday, June 21 at 3:00 pm and join us for a special afternoon of music at Overbrook!

We're excited to welcome the TBDBITL for the next concert in our A Musical Offering series. The band will perform a lively mix of familiar favorites along with selections from their America 250 concert collection.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, gather your family and friends, and enjoy an hour of great music. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll move the concert indoors.

🎤🎬 Family Movie Night: It's a SING-along! 🎬🎤

Get ready to laugh, sing, and have a great time with family and friends!

Join us on Sunday, June 14, from 5:00–7:00 pm for a special screening of the move SING — and yes, we'll be singing along!

We'll provide the pizza, snacks, and plenty of fun. Just bring a chair or blanket, your family, and your best singing voice.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
