It's late tonight and I've been up thinking of Brian and my (Tara's) ministry journeys. We haven't posted on here in a while because there's honestly not a lot to post. We are firmly planted in a local congregation and have seen growth in our callings of ministry. The next few weeks marks 5 years since we began to walk in God's call on our lives. 5 years ago, we started a little house group called The Tabernacle where our members became a critical spiritual touchpoint through the uncertainty of COVID. Since then, we have faithfully kept a weekly gathering and have seen so much growth in the LORD from those we fellowship with.
I've been thinking about all of the people we have met, fellowshipped with, worshipped with. The people we no longer do who we miss dearly. The exciting things God is doing. As I was studying tonight the importance of the mission really sunk it's teeth into me. We are not called to bring people into the church. We are called to invite people to BE the church. The running of this page hasn't seemed important recently but what has never, and will never change is we all are part of a larger church body of believers.
God has called us to unity. I pray restoration for God's church on a local, national, and global scale. I pray that we all see the light of the Holy Spirit in each other and therefore call each other brother and sister and treat each other like that. I pray for an outpouring of God's glory when obedience and unity is present. Grace and Peace my friends -Tara K.
