Congratulations to Our Incoming President!

Today we celebrate God’s faithfulness and look with great anticipation toward a new season of leadership for the South Carolina Baptist Congress of Christian Education.

Congratulations to Dr. Johnny Johnson, Pastor of White Plains Baptist Church in Laurens, South Carolina, on your election as President for the 2027-2031 quadrennium.

We pray that God grants you wisdom to lead, courage to serve, and strength to inspire. May your presidency reflect Christ-centered leadership, unwavering integrity, and a heart committed to advancing Christian education throughout our churches and communities.

The wait is over… the journey begins tomorrow!

The 119th Annual Session of the South Carolina Baptist Congress of Christian Education officially begins tomorrow evening with Welcome Night, and we can’t wait to welcome delegates, pastors, church leaders, instructors, youth, and churches from across South Carolina.

This week is more than a conference. It is a time to grow in God’s Word, strengthen our faith, build lasting relationships, and be equipped to serve with excellence. From dynamic courses and inspiring worship to powerful preaching, fellowship, and special events, there is something for every generation.

To provide greater convenience for our delegates and guests during the 119th Annual Session of the South Carolina Baptist Congress of Christian Education, Morris College is opening its campus café exclusively for Congress attendees. Since there are no students on campus during the session, this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy delicious, home-style meals without leaving campus.

We encourage everyone to patronize the Morris College Café and help support the College while enjoying quality meals at an exceptional value.

Save even more with the Weekly Meal Plan:

Adults: $65 (Monday–Thursday)
Children (10 & under): $35

When you compare the daily rates, the weekly meal plan offers significant savings:

Daily Dine-In: $18 per person
Daily Carryout: $20 per plate
