Before the lights. Before the music. Before the people. Before all the things that church will hold tomorrow …
We just want to say thank You, God.
10 years of faithfulness.
10 years of beauty, not absent of pain.
10 years of God being consistent.
10 years of laughs and tears.
10 years of lessons.
Who could have imagined that 10 years later, God would do all of this?
YES, we could sense that He would do big things. We knew He would use us to serve His people. We knew He would send worshipers from the north, south, east, and west. But we never could have imagined it would look like this.
To now put names to the faces we always knew God would send… to look around and realize that the people we prayed for are actually here… that the worshipers we believed for are worshiping beside us… that the people we knew God would entrust to us are now people we get to love, serve, minister to, and worship with Sunday after Sunday…
It’s overwhelming. More importantly it’s testament that God keeps his words. God, You have done exceedingly, abundantly, above all we could ask or think.
And somehow, after 10 years, You keep whispering:
“It’s just the beginning.”
So before we celebrate what You’ve done, we pause and say…
Thank You.
Thank You.
Thank You. 🥹
For every yes.
Every tear.
Every sacrifice.
Every miracle.
Every generation.
Every Sunday.
Every unseen moment.
Thank You for 10 years of Forward City.
And if this is only the beginning…
Lord, we’re ready. ❤️🔥
