😇 Midlands Gives is going on RIGHT NOW! Since its inception by Central Carolina Community Foundation in 2014, the event has raised $24 million for local nonprofits. Huge thank you to the Simmons Law Firm who graciously donated to fully fund Flash’s training to become a service dog! We could not be more grateful!

Flash will travel to Savannah soon to start training and will be saving lives in no time. He’s already been showing compassion and the Vets we come across are able to forget about the issues that might be troubling them.

This is something that we at Hidden Wounds have been dreaming of being to serve Vets and families with. Keep up with Flash as we will start a new page for him on Instagram so you can see what he’s up to!

The time has come again to to enjoy this great event and support the missions of three organizations teamed up to help our service members fight the war at home. Huge thank you to all our volunteers who make this event a success each time. We can do it without them. If you would like to volunteer please let us know!

Organizers say the goal of the event is to bring awareness to the struggles that some veterans and service members deal with on a day to day basis.
