Last evening, Wilde Lake Interfaith Center was honored at the County's "Rise to the Challenge" award, held at the Merriweather Post Pavilion. Our award was in the category for Faith-Based Collaborator, and was for all the outreach our faith community performed over the last 2-1/2 years in response to the covid crisis, here in the county. This award honors all the staff and congregant volunteers here who assisted with the covid tests, vaccine clinics we held here, all the food donations congregants bring in, and the support volunteers transport for distribution, as well as all the other areas of our outreach.
