GET OFF MY PROPERTY!!

Have you ever noticed that fear shows up most when you’re unsure where you stand?

Scripture says, perfect love casts out fear. The word “perfect” means complete.

And fear, in this passage, is tied to the expectation of punishment.

I understand how fear can linger.

Often it isn’t because love is absent,
but because love hasn’t been allowed to finish what it came to do.

And Scripture is clear about this part too.

God is love.

So when His love hasn’t finished settling the question of acceptance, fear stays alert.

It braces for correction.

It assumes something could still go wrong.

But when God’s love completes its work, fear has no function.

No punishment to anticipate.

No rejection to prepare for.

Fear isn’t forced out.

It simply has no job where God’s love is complete.
