MIDNIGHT DEADLINE: Lift families out of hunger tonight!
Today is World Food Day. With your help, by midnight tonight, we're going to raise enough money to lift a large number of people out of hunger all over the world. This email is your last chance to help us reach their goal—donate now.
Your donation tonight will help one less person go hungry tomorrow.

We know hunger is malicious. It does not care if you are trying to focus on your school work or provide for your family. It takes over your mind and body, leaving you unfocused and fatigued with barely enough energy to make it to the next day. It is the worst form of violence because it forces millions of people to live without dignity or hope. That is why the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) works tirelessly to remove hunger from every corner of the world.
Their goal is zero hunger. And while this goal may sound like the hopeful musings of a child, it's actually a reality we are closer to than ever before. Since 1990, 200 million people have been removed from hunger's grips, but we still have many more to help, including those suffering through the Syrian crisis. These refugees already find themselves without homes or livelihoods. We cannot let them go without food, too.
The good news is that the United Nations has done the math. It takes $160 per year to help one person break free of the cycle of hunger. If we all work together, we can be the generation that ends hunger. But we cannot achieve this goal if many of WFP's programs, including their Syrian efforts, continue to lack the necessary funding to provide the required food assistance to eliminate hunger and malnutrition from this planet.
Take the first step toward achieving zero hunger. Donate by midnight and help WFP reach even more hungry families in need.
With hope and gratitude,
World Food Program USA
