Justice in the Midst of Oppression
Psalm 10:17-18
17 You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, 18 defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror.
These verses are a reminder that God is never indifferent to suffering. Although it may seem that evil goes unchecked for a time, God hears every cry, strengthens every weary heart, and promises to act with justice. As Believers, we are encouraged to trust God, knowing that He is both compassionate and righteous.
