My heart aches for the communities in north Mississippi dealing with this disastrous event. There were so many times, these same residents came together with Ministryup to help others in need.

I am preparing for a major surgery on Monday and I am incredibly saddened that I cannot be there in this moment to repay your unselfishness shown over the years. It warms my heart to see other organizations step up to the plate… but there’s so many still without power in the coldest time of the year!

If you can, donate! A heater, a blanket, gas… whatever need you can fulfill, let’s help Mississippi! If you’re outside of Mississippi, please reach out to me and I will connect you to local leaders in the area!

💫 A Full Circle Moment for MinistryUp 💫

Today, my heart is full.

Ten months ago, First Baptist Church of Gary, Indiana invited MinistryUp to walk alongside them in one of the most sacred seasons in a church’s life — the search for a new Senior Pastor.

After prayer, process, and partnership, the congregation elected Rev. Nicole Guns to lead them into this new chapter. And today, we witnessed the fruit of that journey — her Installation Service.

I am beyond happy, proud, honored, and humbled to know that MinistryUp could play a role in helping this historic church find the right shepherd for this moment.

To the members of First Baptist: thank you for trusting the process.

With great care and sincere reflection, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Women Rise Conference. This gathering has always been about empowerment, connection, and creating space for women to grow, heal, and rise together. That spirit remains unchanged.
