Before you fix the relationship, fix the one you see in the mirror.

Sometimes the greatest change God wants to make is not around you—it is within you.

Before you blame another person.
Before you repeat another pattern.
Before you start another chapter.

Take a moment to examine what still needs healing, what still needs growth, and what still needs God’s attention.

The work starts with you.

Ready to do the work? Type “STARTING WITH ME” in the comments. 🔥🙌🏾

QuoteOfTheDay

Sometimes the greatest battle is not around us — it’s within us.

Samson was strong enough to defeat a lion, but not strong enough to master his own appetite. He kept going after “sweet stuff in dead places.”

This week, let’s choose self-awareness, honesty, and healing.

I’m Starting with Me.

IIf you stop adding wood, don’t blame God when the fire gets weak.

A fire does not fade all at once.
It fades when it stops being fed.

The same is true for faith.

After a long week, it is easy to run low, drift, or wonder if what you have been doing is even working.

But tending the fire is part of trusting the process.

Keep praying.
Keep worshiping.
Keep showing up.
Keep making room for God.

The fire you keep feeding is the fire that keeps burning.

This weekend, tend the fire you want to keep. 🔥

You cannot ask for fire and avoid sacrifice.

Everybody wants the fire, but fire requires something to be placed on the altar.

Prayer requires surrender.
Worship requires focus.
Growth requires obedience.
And a deeper life with God requires us to release what keeps competing for His place.

If we want God to fill us, we have to make room for Him.

So today, do not just ask for more fire.
Ask God what needs to be surrendered so the fire can keep burning.

If you’re making room for God to fill you, drop a 🔥 below.

When we say Pastor, you say Coates! 🙌🏽

PASTOR! COATES!
PASTOR! COATES!

The joy was loud, the love was real, and the celebration was full as we honored 22 years of faithful leadership.

This spirit tunnel was more than a cheer — it was a moment of gratitude for our Pastor, who continues to preach, teach, lead, and pour into this house with vision and purpose.

Happy 22nd Pastoral Anniversary, Pastor Coates!
Mt. Ennon loves you, celebrates you, and thanks God for you. 💙

Yesterday’s breakthrough cannot sustain today’s fire.

Yesterday’s prayer.
Yesterday’s discipline.
Yesterday’s faith.

You cannot live on yesterday’s oil and expect fresh fire.

God is still moving… but staying spiritually full requires more than a Sunday moment.

Fresh fire requires fresh surrender.

What fed you before may not be enough for where God is taking you now.

If you’re asking God for fresh fire today, drop a 🔥 below.

What happened before does not get the final word.

The disappointment.
The mistake.
The heartbreak.
The grief.
The setback.

Don’t let what hurt you become what holds you.

Too many people are letting old pain speak louder than present purpose.

But God is still doing new things.

The fire for your future is still burning—even if life tried to convince you otherwise.

Leave the residue behind.

There is still purpose ahead. There is still healing ahead. There is still more for you.

If you’re choosing to move forward and not stay stuck in what tried to break you, drop a 🔥 below.

To Keep The Fire Burning, you must get your ashes out the way.

Ashes are the evidence of a flame that has already burned. And when too many ashes build up, they can choke the oxygen the fire needs to keep going.

This week’s sermon, “Keep The Fire Burning” from Leviticus 6:8-13, reminds us that in order to keep the fire of God burning in our lives, we have to remove what is blocking the flame.
