A Calling
The organization began in 2016 when it went from an idea to a possibility. The idea went from veterans praying and helping others, to a Christian Veterans Corps (CVC) doing good deeds for its community, providing assistance for veterans with addictions and mental health through group-like counseling, and peer support services. The fun part of this is that a rank structure was created to provide a sense of organization which will provide purpose, direction, and motivation to veterans seeking somewhere to fit in. God has called us all to spread his word to all people. He as provided us with a purpose. The bible says, “Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. This is my rule in all the churches (1 Corinthians 7:17)”. As veterans, we at time feel like we no longer serve a purpose after our military careers. We end up spending years trying to find value in our lives again, and sometimes to no avail. The CVC hopes to change that for veterans. We seek to spread the love of Jesus Christ to all whom are willing to listen, while providing a great service to our nations veterans. This is our true call to arms, using the word of God as our sword to fight off the enemy, and the love of Christ to win the people over!
