Subject: Parish Office Phones & Internet Temporarily Down

Dear Parishioners,

We wanted to let you know that the phones and internet at our parish office are currently down due to a service interruption.

As a result, we may be delayed in responding to phone calls, emails, and other requests until service is restored. We are working with our IT partners to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

This Thursday...

Join us Thurs, April 9, 7-9pm in the St Luke church for the Night of Joy simulcast, an evening of Eucharistic adoration, worship, and reflection…reminding us that the victory of the Resurrection is not meant to be celebrated only on Easter day or even during the Easter season, but throughout everyday Christian life. This evening, provided by Franciscan University, will include an uplifting talk by Father Jonathan St André, as well as powerful worship and prayer led by Father Dave Pivonka. This is a great opportunity to get a taste of Franciscan University without leaving Lakewood!! Feel free to come and go as your schedule allows. Hope to see you there…

Whether you're dealing with the loss of a loved one or just want to pray a beautiful version of the Stations...we hope to see you Friday!!

When someone close to us passes away, it is as though a part of ourselves died in the process. It is a journey to the Cross that we must all make at one time or another. Join us Fri, March 27, 7pm at St Luke for a very special Stations of the Cross where we connect our loss to Christ’s Passion. When we join Him in His journey to the Cross, we find meaning in our own suffering and pain. Healing is possible. Hope to see you there…

Tomorrow (Tues) evening...

Music can speak to our hearts in a way that words just can’t. Join us Tues, March 24, 7-8pm at St Clement for a very special Benediction Prayer Service. It’s basically a musical Stations of the Cross with prayer and song tied to the events of Jesus’ Passion. Benediction will close out the evening. Hope to see you there…

Join us THIS SATURDAY, 6:30pm in the St Clement Hall for a night at the movies. We will be showing “Hacksaw Ridge”, the incredible true story of Desmond Doss, an army medic (and conscientious objector) who was on the front lines in the Battle of Okinawa without a weapon. This excellent movie provides a lot to reflect on as we approach Holy Week. We’ll provide popcorn and pop…hope to see you there!!

Update on Father Kevin...

We have received word that Father Kevin will be assigned as pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Cuyahoga Falls when he returns from his sabbatical. We thank Father Kevin for his faithful service shepherding the community of the Lakewood Catholic Parishes...and we wish him the best in the future! May you be a blessing to the people of Cuyahoga Falls...
