What's the most challenging thing about being a believer is...well, believing. Here's my point! I can't merely believe in God, at some point in this walk called "life", I have to believe God!
When I go to Him in prayer, I must believe He hears me. I must believe He'll answer me. I must believe He is not a liar. I must believe He's incapable of failure. I must believe that if I delight myself in Him, He'll give me the desires of my heart. Scripture says, "That those who come to God "must" believe that He is. And He is a great rewarder to those that do". So approach the throne of God boldly, with confidence, and you too will experience the favor of God on and in your life.

What's on my mind? God and Jesus Christ. And let's not leave out the Holy Spirit! 2018 was an awesome year for me. Got married and had a son. 2019 looks to be even better. Got a new home we'll be moving into soon. I stayed on my weeks upon weeks with blessed anticipation waiting on the Lord to fulfill His promise that if I delight myself in Him he'd give me the desires of my heart. And because of his faithfulness he came thru for me and my family concerning our new home. If you're looking towards God to do the super natural for you, don't waiver in your trust inn him. No matter how the circumstances may look all around stand on God's faithfulness. He cannot disappoint.

Having a personal relationship with the God of the universe is awesome beyond words. We've all experienced petitioning God for something that goes beyond human aid, of this I'm sure. See, there's gonna be times when no human can assist me. Doors slammed in my face at every turn. Everywhere I look for help the answer is a consistent NO! However for me, I look to the hills from which comes my help. My help comes from God thru grace thru Christ. I've had occasions when I've needed super natural intervention. When I called out to God and not only did He hear my cry but He answered me. If you haven't give him a try, He won't let you down. Merry Christmas every one. Remember Jesus is the real reason for the season.

The other night I was studying my Word and the Spirit took me to Hebrew 11:6. "Those who come to God must believe that He is..." Well there were numerous commentaries explaining the thesis behind this scripture. These people went on and on getting all deep and philosophical. The bottom line for me is so much simpler then all that Theology. I don't merely just believe in God, I truly BELIEVE Him.

Real talk it's been way too long since I've been on FB let alone posting on RTGG. God gave me this blog so I'm going to ask Him to help me reestablish this wonderful tool of insight, encouragement and positivity based on life's experiences based on His wisdom. The Spirit always reveals the truth. Not my truth but the Truth which is He's and He's alone.

WOW!!!! I'm surprised my blog is still in existence. I haven't been posting on it since forever. Well, since I'm here, let me give y'all an update on what God's been doing for me. He gave me a lovely new apartment, with a balcony that overlooks Lake Erie! And... wait for it... He gave me a new job at the Wade Park VA hospital in Cleveland, Ohio!!! That last one I'm really excited about, seeing how I officially retired 2 years ago and I'm all of 64 years old. But, tell me, won't He do it! He'll do the same or more for you. He said. "If I delight myself in Him, He would give me the desires of my heart." Thank you Father God, and my precious Lord Jesus Christ for always keeping your word.

I have been going around and around with getting up the courage to post something on this blog of mine's. For the past several months, the past several long months, I have been battling with severe symptoms of PTSD. It's been an up hill climb, yet in all that, I am "still" more than a conqueror through Christ that continues to strengthen me. Being in this unique position has given me the only option that matters. I "mus"t rely on my Heavenly Father to protect my heart and mind in this fragile state. I utterly trust God through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to see me through this trial. I may be pressed down, but not defeated. I will get through this through the power of The Holy Spirit of God that dwells within me. I would like to publicly thank all my friends that have continued to pray for me through these trying times. Thanks to everyone for their unconditional love and support. And Father God, I thank you in advance for my healing and restoration, and I'll be careful to give you all the glory which is Your's and Your's alone.

I haven't posted anything on "God's Grace" in awhile. I'm back and God is still in charge. Like everyone else I've had my share of ups and downs, and through all that, one thing I do know for sure is, God's mercy endures forever. Whether I read my bible everyday or not at all, His mercy endures forever. Whether I teach Sunday school or whether I don't even attend church, His mercy endures forever. If I lay on my face all the day long in prayer or if I don't even know how to begin to pray, doesn't matter, His mercy STILL endures forever. The bottom line is this...God is so loving, so kind, and so mindful of us, that in spite of our short comings, in spite of our failures or mistakes, God doesn't hold that against us because, His mercy endures forever.

Need something good to happen in your life? "Seek first the Kingdom of God and all things shall be added onto you." Jesus instructs us to asK our Heavenly Father for what we need. God will not withold no good thing from us. Oftentimes we're out of position to get what we ask for. Othertimes, it's not our season. God is not foolish like us. He knows what we can or cannot handle. My take on it is to strive to stay in position, spiritually, and when my season comes, God will make it happen.
