The 2026 CATCH Bass Tournament Trail will be launching from the Grasshopper Creek Ramp on Lake Chickamauga on Friday evening July 17th with a $500 first place guarantee. This is an open tournament and will be sponsored by J&J Piping of Cleveland, TN. Special thanks goes out to Joe and Susan Jerfie and their team for their continued support of our mission to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We will have a pre-registration at Fishtales in Cleveland on Thursday afternoon (July 16th) from 5:00-6:15pm, give or take a few minutes either way. You can sign up at the ramp Friday evening until 6:30pm. Rules can be seen at http://www.catchministry.net and you can also download and print a waiver form on our site as well. Fill it out before arriving and save yourself some time.

This is an open tournament and will be sponsored by H&J Heating and Air Conditioning of Sale Creek, TN. We had a great turnout (22 boats) for the 2026 Guys and Dolls considering the rainy conditions. The daughter/father team of Haley Bartenfield and Louie Bartenfield came away with 1st place and big fish. The winning weight was 15.19lbs and the big fish was 3.96lbs. We had lots of limits but no Chickamauga giants.
The rest of the $$ winners:
2nd place Peyton Kent/Emma Boring 12.20lbs
3rd and 4th tied with 11.98lbs Trusan Couch/Ethan Couch and Dewayne Lowe/Lee Ann Lowe
5th place Scott Jones/Janice Jones 11.86lbs

If you are planning to come to the Guys and Dolls tournament on Saturday, be sure your Doll has her fishing license for the day. My wife only goes one day a year and it’s this particular tournament. Just want to remind everybody.  BTW, say an extra prayer that the rain will subside from about 4 AM till 2 PM.

Our annual Guys and Dolls bass tournament is coming up Saturday, May 23rd. We will start at safelight (approx. 6:30am) and weigh in will be at 12PM. We will be launching out of Grasshopper Creek on Lake Chickamauga. Regular CATCH rules will apply - including 5 fish limit. Lunch will be served afterwards. Lunch is provided by State Sen. J Adam Lowe. Pre-registration will be May 22nd at Fishtales from 5pm - 6pm and you can sign up at the ramp on Saturday morning until 6:00am. Entry fee is $40. No processing fee is required. One male and one female - no solo anglers for this one. One must be 18 years of age.

They can also move heavy equipment to a new location if you need that kind of help.

We survived the hurricane force winds at Watts Bar on 3/28. Pat Lay and James Sears brought home the bacon with a five fish limit weighing in at 18.42lbs. Scott Jones and Tom McClure had big largemouth at 6.48lbs and Blake Morrow and Nathan Davis had big smallmouth at 4.40lbs.
