Last weekend, we were blessed to celebrate the Priestly Ordination of Abouna Mario Ghosn and his First Divine Liturgy of Thanksgiving.

We thank God for the gift of his vocation and for the joy of seeing one of our own answer the Lord’s call. Please continue to keep Abouna Mario in your prayers as he begins this new chapter of priestly ministry. May the Lord bless him with wisdom, strength, and many fruitful years in the Holy Priesthood.

Congratulations, Abouna Mario! Your Saint Maron family is proud of you and praying for you always.

Today, Saint Maron Church joins the universal Church in celebrating her beloved son, Abouna Mario Ghosn, ordained to the Holy Priesthood. This beautiful celebration will forever mark the history of our parish. Truly, there is no greater joy than this. A vocation born from within our community is the greatest sign of a healthy, faithful, and vibrant parish family.

Let us come together as one family today as the Bishop ordains Mario at 4:00 p.m. at our Downtown Church.

And tomorrow, with hearts full of gratitude, we gather again at 11:00 a.m. to join the newly ordained Abouna Mario for his First Divine Liturgy of Thanksgiving.

May God continue to pour His blessings upon Saint Maron Church and upon all who serve her with love.
