Orthodox Christianity is based upon two Testaments, three creeds, four gospels, and the first five centuries of Christian history.

One of the advantages of researching early Pentecostal periodicals is reading testimonies like this:

"I am still saved through and through, up and down and all around; sanctified as a second work of grace, and mean to run the Christian's race; baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire, and ready to go up in the air; healed by the blood without medicine drops, running and leaping with holy hops."

R. B. Hayes in the Pentecostal Holiness Advocate (Jan. 17, 1918).

At PTS, we are quickly approaching our next commencement. Graduating DMin students are working tirelessly to complete final revisions on their dissertations. We are also accepting new applications to the DMin program. Applicants should contact Lee Seals in the admissions office.

I will not be teaching through the summer, but I will be assisting students who need to complete their prospectus. I will be visiting four camp meetings through the summer, and attending general assembly.

In the fall, we will offer DM 901 Orientation to all new DMin students. This will be a one week intensive on the PTS campus - August 10-14. Also, I will be teaching “Pastoral Ministries” for masters students, and “Leadership and Peacemaking: Conflict and Reconciliation” as a DMin elective.

There is not a better place for students to enhance their vocational competencies and develop their Pentecostal spirituality than PTS!
