We had a great discussion of “Men as leaders”that Nic lead...

We are all called as leaders in one way or another. You may not have a leadership role at work or be your own boss but we all have a responsibility at our home to be leaders of our families. The man is the head of the household so we have a responsibility of leading our families closer to God. The kids will watch the way you seek God and so will your wife as she submits unto you as the lead of your home. The more you submit to God the more your family will follow. The more you chase God the more he’ll pour into your cup. The more you chase worldly things the more it’ll run away from you. Money, an addiction, a temporary feeling or whatever it is will never fill the void...but the only exception in that is Jesus.

Jesus never leaves you, He fulfills you.

📖Deuteronomy 6:6-7 NKJV
6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

📖1 Timothy 3:4-5
4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence 5 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?);

We also had a moment for all the men to share their testimony of what Jesus has done in their lives. Was a great night of fellowship! Thank you men for coming out!
