The dog days of summer are here and herb gardens are coming to the end of their season. Save the rest of your garden herbs (or any leftover fresh herbs bought at the store) by drying them in your oven to use all year long!

This is advance notice that the Amazing Grace Ministries Clothing Closet & Thrift Store will be closed for one week this month. We will be closed Monday, September 14th through Friday, September 18th, and we will reopen on Monday, September 21st.
Please refrain from bringing donations during this week. We will be accepting donations until Friday, September 11th at 2pm. We appreciate your understanding and compassion in this matter.

Happy Mindful Monday!
Sometimes in life we find ourselves in situations that are frightening, stressful, or even dangerous. We experience those bad days when it seems that enemies are at our metaphorical doorstep and no one is around to defend us or comfort us. It may feel easy to give yourself over to the fear, but it is easier still to let it go and place your trust in God. He is always with us, no matter where we go or what we experience. It takes mindfulness and strength of will to remember that we are not alone and to trust that He is walking beside us.

Happy Mindful Monday!
Community is a vital part of our lives. Feeling like we are not alone, feeling like we belong, having friends and family to spend our time with—all things that we crave and that lift us up in our daily lives. How many times have you seen someone in need of that community but unable to find it? Is there anyone you work with or see often who could use a little interaction? This week, step out of your comfort zone and seek out those individuals! Offer them encouragement and compassion, it could mean a world of difference in their day.
