Over the past few months, we’ve been in an intentional rhythm of teaching, allowing topics to unfold and take shape through series.
Our first series, As We Grow, focused on formation and spiritual growth.
Our second series, The Gospel, carried us through Easter, centering on the story of Christ, His kingship, His sacrifice, and the call to live in light of it.
We’ve been in our third series, “A Way of Life,” taking time to slow down and consider what it really means to follow Jesus.
Yesterday marked our fourth week, A Way of Gathering, where we looked at what God is forming among us. We are a people shaped by His presence, centered on Jesus, and grounded in the Gospel. We talked about who we are, confessing that there is one God, that He is revealed in Christ, that we honor His name, and that His Spirit is still active and present.
Last week focused on the inward work of God. Jesus fulfills the law and addresses the heart, and through faith we are made righteous. The Spirit leads us out of the flesh and into life and peace, forming obedience.
Week two, Fully Belonging to God, called us to complete surrender. Spirit, soul, and body belong to Him. Our lives are not our own, and everything, even our bodies, becomes an expression of worship, set apart, and devoted to God.
Week one began in Luke 24 with the resurrection. This victory was the culmination of Jesus’ redemptive work, through which He established a new way of life.
Taken together, this series has been a call to something whole, a life awakened by the resurrection, surrendered entirely to God, transformed by His Spirit, and lived out together as a people shaped by His presence.
