Of all the stories I've told about Saint Joan of Arc...

⚔️ The little farm girl whom townspeople noticed—and whom saints visited. (Episode 1)

⚔️ The girl who faced off with a military captain again, and again, and again. (2)

⚔️ The young teenager who picked the future king out of a crowd. (3)

⚔️ The heroine who saved the city of Orléans. (4)

⚔️ The war leader who helped take France back, battle by battle. (5)

…THIS is the story that captured my heart—and my family's—the most.

In fact, it has become one of my favorite stories to tell.

Because Joan shows her greatest strength not in victory...
but when she is rejected, captured, forsaken, and condemned.

"Go boldly. God will help you."

Happy Feast Day, St. Joan of Arc!

One of the things I love most about Joan is that she wasn't fearless - she trusted God enough to move forward anyway.

If your family is looking for an inspiring saint story, this Joan of Arc series is available wherever you listen to podcasts.

New short story episode! ⚜️
Many kids today struggle with anxiety, discouragement, and the temptation to give up when things get hard. And honestly… we adults do too.

In a (quit) culture that often teaches us to walk away when relationships, responsibilities, or challenges become uncomfortable, St. Joan of Arc (Feast May 30th) has something to say to us.

Again and again, this teenage farm girl from a tiny village refuses to quit despite every obstacle.

Ignored.
Doubted.
Tested.
Out of place.
Yet she keeps going.

Part 3 of my series Joan of Arc: Courage & Patience — “I Was Born for This” — is now LIVE. 👇🏻in comments

Happy Feast of the Apparition of St. Michael the Archangel! (May 8th)

I wanted to share this incredible story with you - St. Michael saving Siponte; the Cave Basilica - the only church in the world not consecrated by a Bishop because Michael consecrated it; and why we pray the St. Michael prayer after Mass.

This is one of the most fascinating stories I have been able to tell kids, and adults! Full of mystery, angels, courage, and battle.

I hope it blesses your bedtime prayer routine or car ride, and your own relationship with the Archangel.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle…

Joan is back! ⚔️🔥
Part 2 of the Joan of Arc series is now live!

Journey with Joan as she crosses war-torn France, faces rejection and ridicule, and keeps trusting God anyway.

This week’s story is all about courage, patience, and not giving up when things feel hard.

Perfect for bedtime, car rides, or quiet family time. 🙏

Joan has arrived…

I’m so excited to share the beginning of this new series on Joan of Arc—and also excited to feature this beautiful cover art by the incredibly talented Sacred Art by Tianna Williams (sacredartbytianna.com).

Thank you, Tianna, for allowing me to share your work—it brings Joan’s story to life. 🎨

Joan’s story is one of courage, trust, and listening to God—even when you’re afraid.

We missed last week, but we’re back.

And so is Jesus!

And I think this story was worth it.
This week, your family walks with Mary Magdalene to the empty tomb…
wondering where Jesus is…

And then—He says your name.
I think this is a powerful prayer story

Perfect for bedtime, a quiet moment after dinner, or your next car ride together.

After listening, ask your kids:
• If you were running to the tomb with Peter and John… who would win?
• When is a time God felt far away?

He is not gone.
He is alive.
And He is with your family.
St. Mary Magdalene… pray for us!

The tomb was sealed and guarded.

Then… everything changed.
In this new Easter story, we step into the moment the stone was rolled away—through the eyes of a Roman soldier.

This is the beginning of a short Easter series for families.

Sometimes the Gospel stories can sound a little different…

But over the next few weeks, we’re going to walk through them together and discover what really happened.

🌿 Palm Sunday for Families — A Quiet Way to Begin Holy Week

This week is one of the most important weeks of the whole year…
Holy Week.

I just released a new episode to help your family enter into it together:
👉 Palm Sunday: Jesus Enters Jerusalem

In this story, your children don’t just hear what happened… they step into it.
They walk the road with Jesus… hear the crowds shouting “Hosanna!”… and then notice something unexpected:
Jesus is not only joyful—He is also sad.
And He asks a quiet question:
“Will you stay with me… even when it is hard?”

This short, imaginative prayer story is perfect for:
✔ bedtime tonight
✔ a quiet moment before Mass
✔ the car ride this week

If you’ve been wanting a simple way to pray as a family during Lent or Holy Week—this is a great place to start.

🎧 Listen here 👇🏻 (comments)

We’ll be walking through Holy Week together… all the way to Easter morning.
