🌟 Calling All OLV Food Booth Volunteers! 🌟
If you’ve helped in the OLV food booth before, thank you — your time and energy have made such a difference. We’d love to have you back again this year!

The OLV Festival runs Friday, May 15 through Sunday, May 17, and we’re looking for volunteers to help keep the booth running smoothly. If you can take a shift, we’d be so grateful.

Here are the roles we’re filling:
• Order Taker – Take customer orders and money at the front of the booth. (4–5 per shift)
• Order Runner – Bring completed food orders from the prep area to your assigned Order Taker. (4–5 per shift)
• Grill – Cook burgers, hot dogs, and more on the main grills. (2 per shift)
• Walking Taco Grill – Prep and assemble walking tacos. (1 per shift)
• Money Station – Handle payments and keep the cash box organized. (1 per shift)
• Floater – Help wherever needed: refilling supplies, assisting grillers, giving quick breaks, and lots of walking between the Cafeteria Kitchen, Gym, and Wassler’s truck. (1 per shift)

Holy Smokes needs you!

Holy smokes is such a large part of our festival and community as a whole and such a unique organization here at Our Lady of Victory.
We want to do everything in our power to make sure all that delicious food is available for the whole festival weekend.

This is the Cook schedule for Festival weekend. Under each time slot, there is a description of what will be needed during that shift. There are other tasks, such as; washing knives/trays/etc, removing garbage, grabbing meat/buns from the trailer and gym… that go on throughout each day as needed. ...

Join us on February 21 at 5:30pm for a fun, hands‑on night with the crew that keeps OLV fired up.

No experience needed—just show up, meet great people, and learn how to smoke wings like a pro.

Our pitmasters will walk you through the process, then we’ll hang out, eat, and talk all things BBQ.

It’s a relaxed, BYOB evening built around good food, good people, and leveling up your BBQ game.

Pat and Boone from Humbert Meats have done it again. Folks… if you like pork belly burnt ends, GET. TO. OKTOBERFEST. at St. Simon tonight! We just prepped the bellies for tonight and these are gorgeous!!!

The pork butts are already on Eve taking a nice long smoke bath, and the turkey breasts will be on shortly, too.

It’s a gorgeous day for an Oktoberfest!!!!
