Resourcing Ministry Partners, Inc. Spreading the Gospel to the Maasai of East Africa

08/19/2025

Dear Partners,
As we near the end of summer, I will bring you up to date on our Ministry in Africa.
Daniel's Land Cruiser has essentially bit the dust and we are hoping we will be able to obtain a new engine for it. The vehicle was bought in the late 1990's I believe, it was before my administrative time with the ministry. At 300,000 miles, a new engine was purchased in 2008 and currently went south at 287,000 miles. We invested $5,000 USD in April, but it is now totally inoperable. Daniel is able to use the new van we purchased, but because of regulations on how the van is registered in Kenya, this is only a short term fix, not a final solution. We are looking at an expense of $10,000 USD or more, due to import fees. Daniel is being diligent and trying to find one in Kenya. Any financial help would be appreciated as our funding of the new truck and van has depleted much of the general funds.
The ministry has spent a good deal of time evangelizing in Northern Kenya to the Pukot tribes and other outlying tribes. They have run into resistance in Tanzania, as many of the areas they need to reach are controlled by other Factions. We are thankful and blessed that our outreach has been able to reach many new areas for Christ in Northern Kenya.
The goal is to eventually move deeper into Tanzania as hostilities tone down, but we have made the strategic decision to advance North and reach the unsaved, regardless of tribal affiliation.
Our Ministry is being accepted with much joy in these areas and the core focus is to continue to reach the unsaved and establish new churches and encourage existing churches.
If you go to the Faith Church Kenya page, you can find many photos and videos of Daniel and others preaching the Good News of Jesus.
Our web site has been frozen as our servicing company is no longer doing this and we will be moving our page to a different company by December of this year. You can still access everything, but no new information will be appearing until we move the site. We will update our page Resourcing Ministry Partners, Inc. in the interim.
Bill Van Fleet, our president, suffered a mild stroke in early August, but Praise the Lord, he is doing very well in recovery. He tells me he is tired and confused, but I can assure you he has lost nothing cognitively and actually seems to be better than ever!
He is also dealing with a brother-in-law in Florida who has severe medical issues and no one to take care of him. Bill has been dealing with this as well. Your prayers for him are appreciated.
My Executive Assistant, Jacqui Young, who helps both Bill and I with the administration of the Ministry, just lost her Father, Jack who by age 86, lived a full life, . She is the executor of the estate, so she has been busy, to say the least.
My insurance agency is in the process of acquiring another agency belonging to a good friend of mine, also an insurance agent, and both Jacqui and I have been, and will continue to be, extremely busy with this as well.
Your prayers for all of us are always appreciated.
Yours in Christ,
Dino Costanzo

July Ministry Update 2024
Dear Partners,

The recent 30 Days of Impact Crusade, Conference, Tent Meeting is coming to an end in Bissell and reports from Daniel and from the many pictures and short videos that have been sent to us, everything that was hoped for appears to have been achieved. They had commitments for Christ numbering in the 150 range during the Crusade part of the event and the impact on Pastors and Church was excellent. The event was very well attended and very organized. We are sharing some of the photos here, but you can go to Daniel's page and Elijah Soine's page for more.

Elijah Soine is the new executive we had asked Daniel to hand pick to communicate directly with us. This is so we can keep those that support the ministry in the know, as well as begin an outreach here in the US. With Daniel's busy schedule, we were behind on the day-to-day goings on. We talk with Daniel weekly, but his time is being consumed with operations of the Ministry, so we suggested he find someone to handle this.

As we have communicated over the last year and a half, the Church's growth has been explosive and we are committed to doing everything we can to help Daniel and his team of Pastors to sustain this outreach. The problem we see is the funding issue, because there is not a lot of opportunity for financial growth in much of the territory where these churches are being established. That being considered, Daniel has been working on various ideas, but none of them, in our opinion, will solve the long term funding problem. Our goal through this Ministry will be to try to share our purposes and goals to more contributors on this side of the Atlantic.

Our first project, which is now underway, is to get pictures of every church, its leading Pastor, and its location. These will be added to our website for everyone to view. This sounded easy to Bill and I, but eight months later we were going nowhere on this. The problem, which our Brothers and Sisters were embarrassed to share with us, was the lack of many Pastors' ability to send pictures of their Church and Families, as they do not own smartphones. A task we thought was simple, turned out to actually be quite difficult.

This is where Elijah Soine comes into play. Daniel picked him to help us accomplish some of the communication tasks that we feel are very important going forward. Elijah will be visiting every church and getting pictures of the churches, as well as Pastors and family members. He will be traveling with a surveyor who will map the coordinates and tie them in to Google and our website. The goal is for viewers to click on a map and see where each church is located with as much details as we can provide. We believe the long term benefit will be our ability to share the Ministry outreach with you and others in a meaningful way. It is going to take time, but we hope to have it together by late September. We are also in talks with our local church in Cincinnati. They are in the process of putting together a Mission Trip to Kenya in October and are planning on meeting with Daniel and other pastors during this trip. They have been very impressed by what Daniel, in conjunction with our Ministry, has accomplished.

We currently have resources to cover these expenses, but the total cost for these plans alone will be in the neighborhood of $15,000 USD. We will need to purchase a motorcycle, pay for Elijah's travel expenses, as well as the surveyor expenses. Other expenses are going to be an updated computer from our end as well as travel expenses related to the Mission trip. The Breakdown is:

$2000 motorcycle
$1500 surveyor
$7500 travel expenses
$4000 computer
$14,500 +/-

We are looking at this as an investment for the long term, because the odds of 50-70 donors keeping this Outreach continuing is probably not realistic, but with God, you never know.

We also have many other expenses weekly, such as extra needs for individual Pastors and Churches beyond the monthly stipends we have been sending. We are currently sending $12,700 USD each month to pay for 201 Pastor salaries. Church repairs, rebuilds, and repairs are running about $3,000 USD monthly. We continue to meet these obligations and I am sure that our Church Family in Africa is thankful beyond our imagination!

Between all the craziness we have seen in this world over the last four years, it is wonderful to be able to report that growth in this Ministry has been a blessing to all of us. Your steady support has enabled the essentials that were originally envisioned to continue. As we move forward and press on, my goal is to keep what was started by you all going and to blossom into what Jesus and the Father intended for this calling to be. Romans 8:28

This is the third Mission Update attempt I have written in the last month, but everything has been changing rapidly. So, this is actually where we currently are and my guess, by next week, something new will occur. We will keep you as informed as possible as we move the vision forward.

Yours in Christ,

Dino Costanzo

Dear Partners ,

It has been awhile since the last update, so I have quite a few things to share.

First, and by far most important, is the DIRE drought situation facing our dear Brothers and Sisters in our ministry area of Kenya. We now have over 200 Churches sprinkled over 3/4 of the Region where the Maasai Tribes are located in Kenya, and virtually every part is being affected by the lack of rain. As the drought persists, livestock begin to die, creating a huge food shortage issue. Our church is now experiencing this in a BIG WAY. Members in many regions are dying of starvation and unless relief comes shortly, it will continue to worsen. Daniel has asked us to divert any short term giving to food costs, as the inflationary trend in Kenya, coupled with this severe drought, has made this THE ONLY ISSUE of concern at this time.

We raised over $5,000 through the Third Annual Dominic Costanzo Memorial Sporting Clay Shoot in August. We are using the proceeds from the Shoot to relieve immediate food needs and alleviate some of the suffering of Our Church in Kenya. We are asking our Donors to consider matching this amount in the coming days. Any help towards this immediate need will be a HUGE BLESSING for our Brothers and Sisters in Maasai Land....

See the full update on our website.

Dear Partners,

Everything is moving along with the ministry, In July, Daniel is going back to Samburu land and a CEF Rally is planned. Daniel will be traveling with a number of pastors to Laisamis in Marsabit County at the border of Ethiopia and Kenya. The CEF Rally will take place in this same general area.

Here in the States, we will be hosting the Second Annual Dominic Costanzo Vintage Shoot at the Milford Gun Club and the Second Annual Dominic Costanzo Sporting Clays event at the Sycamore Sportsmen Club this summer. Both shoots benefit Resourcing Ministry Partners in the Cincinnati Area. Both events raised over $20,000 for the ministry last year.

I do need to make our partners aware that we are running short on funds for Wadada, CEF, and Church builds. Our operational need for the Wadada Ministry is $65,000. This year's funding is falling short at $50,000. We have exhausted our Wadada funding with the latest transfer for June. This does include donations given at the end of 2020. We have also exhausted the CEF funding for this year, as well as the money set aside for church builds. We expect some donations to trickle in throughout the summer months. Some of the proceeds from the Shooting events will go towards Church Builds. However, most of the proceeds are earmarked as support for Daniel and the Pastors. We recognize that growth may, at some point, outgrow giving, but we have always trusted the Lord will supply needs as they occur. While our intentions have never been to ask, as we trust the Lord is in control of this, we felt an obligation to make everyone aware of the current situation and that our giving will have to be proportional to donations received. Overall costs for Pastors, teachers, Wadada, and CEF are currently running in the neighborhood of $250,000 annually. This figure does not include any building funds or emergency needs. I don't know that any of you, including our founders, ever envisioned the explosive growth that has happened over the last 18-24 months, especially during a supposed worldwide pandemic. But this Ministry has grown by the Grace of God and we are thankful that you have been able to be a part of that.

I am sorry that I have not included any scripture or thoughts about current events happening in the world, but hope to follow up shortly with some gleaning. I wanted to get this out quickly as we are running into financial hardship and I felt everyone should be aware of our situation.

Yours in Christ,

Dino Costanzo

Dear Partners,

This is a mid-year update to bring you up to date on our mission work in Kenya. Since January, the outreach of Daniel's travels through the Maasai culture have brought the current count of Churches under the Faith Church Africa Banner to at least 123. I say that, as there are a couple of opportunities in the works as I write this that may added before long. Unfortunately we are hesitant, for many reasons, to share in great detail how this growth has been happening. The truth is, few of us, including me, know any actual details about evangelism efforts and how they are actually proceeding. We will suffice it to say that Daniel has figured out ways, with the modern tools at his disposal and a great networking system amongst the churches, to combat the logistical nightmares that this pandemic has caused in his geographic area. In other words, the church activities in which we, as partners, have invested, are proceeding beyond any expectations we could have. Ken is very satisfied from all of the reports he has been receiving.

Ken has also informed me that the Wadada Home Project is 85% complete! The only overages in expense have been caused by the mark up of construction materials, due to the pandemic. Any of you that have been doing any home projects have more than likely noticed the upcharge in building material. Ken is confident the overrun should be just a few thousand USD, but will share more as the project nears completion. You will want to pray that the Lord helps us with any shortfalls that occur. We will reach out when we have actual expensive overrun numbers. Ken keeps us informed when he has shareable information. He has been in weekly contact with Nelly and Daniel.

We have a presence on Facebook and a website, both are coming along slowly. We have a trove of pictures and information on our churches in Kenya, but these were last updated in 2017. Most information is up to date, but we have not uploaded all information yet. We had plans of getting together with Steve, but this has been slowed down. We did not want to rush his recovery and inundate him before he was back to 100%. But we encourage you to go to both sites, as we do add information and there is always a little more to look at and read. We have added a biography on Dominic. Just go to the leadership page on the website and click on his name, it is an informative and enjoyable read. We have also added some pictures from the recent fundraising sporting clays shoot. Just click on that link as well. We will be adding links to the sites that are coming out of Kenya as well and we will be adding more and more pictures, videos, and information coming out of Kenya as this pandemic winds down. Our goal is to bring the ministry activities closer to you and others that may just find us.

Ultimately we rely on our partners who have been moved by the Holy Spirit to participate in this calling. This is all of you that have been with us through the years. We hope and pray to continue in this very important mission, bringing everyone we can to the Saving Grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Your contributions to this cause is a wonderful work and something that should make you feel both humbled and honored. I remember the first time I met Daniel in 2000 and am still amazed how far and how many have been brought into the kingdom since then. It still feels like the beginning, just a little more complicated and consuming, but in a very comforting and blessed way.

Bill, Ken and I are available to talk with anyone that has concerns or questions. We are also available to meet with Churches or small groups, etc., that may be interested in hearing about this Ministry. We will continue to update as we can.

Please remember there have been circumstances beyond our control impeding our ability share as often as we would like. But also be assured that this outreach is coming along way better than we could even expect this year of 2020. God has this, and knows all of our concerns and commitments and is not failing in any way. Ken shared with me that he still is so amazed at Daniel's Drive to reach lost souls. We are so blessed and honored to call you all Partners in this Ministry.

Yours in Christ and the Great Commission!
