Thoughts for the Pastor:

The amazing thing about our Scripture this Sunday is this: Jeremiah wrote these words while looking at devastation.

Jerusalem had fallen...The people were suffering...Everything around him looked broken...Yet right in the middle of pain, Jeremiah says: “Great is Your faithfulness.”

That tells me something important: God’s faithfulness is not determined by our circumstances.

God is faithful when life is joyful...God is faithful when life is painful...God is faithful on the mountain and in the valley.
