Dear Lord, we come before you today to lift up all who are sick and in need. We ask for your healing touch on those who are ill, and for your grace and provision for those who are suffering from poverty and deprivation.
Console those who are lonely and despairing, and bring them hope through your love and compassion.
We pray for your guidance and wisdom for those who work to help the sick and needy, so that they may be effective in their efforts.

Heavenly Father, as the morning sun rises, we lift our hearts in prayer to you. We give thanks for the gift of this new day and the opportunity to start afresh. Help us to face the challenges of the day with confidence and trust in your love and presence.
