The theme of the March issue of Friends Journal is "Gender and Sexual Identities". This is one article from that issue.

"For transgender, nonbinary, or intersex Friends, the journey toward truth has often required courage in the face of misunderstanding, silence, and sometimes violence. But it has also revealed the presence of Spirit in the most intimate and transformative ways. This article offers stories of Friends who have lived their truths with integrity."
