We had a fun Luther's Taproom session on Friday. Forty eight people came out in the cold, dark and snow to fill up on chilis and stout! Big thanks to the six folks who brought their versions of chili and to another who switched things up and brought a big pot of spicy, cheesy grits!

We tapped the five-gallon keg of Foreign Export Stout and people seemed to enjoy it - it feels like there's maybe a half gallon or a little less left in it. I didn't take any beer photos on Friday, so the photo below is from a previous batch I made of the style, on a spring day!

The discussion was good, also - if you'd like to watch the 20 minute video by Diana Butler Bass on the subversive nature of gratitude (and Jesus the ingrate) follow this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cNTthYIW0I

Next session of Luther's Taproom is Friday, January 10 at 6 pm - Stout & Chili edition! We'll tap a keg of Foreign Export Stout and you can sign up to bring a pot of chili to share!

Our discussion will be on the subversive power of gratitude - gratitude not as a feeling or greeting card moment, but rather a calling into a moral way of being, into an orientation that helps us live responsibly towards our neighbors and the world.

RSVP here, and sign up to bring a batch of chili. https://forms.gle/eXmum6azUTXKLnvM9
