Dear Peoples Church Family,

Atis (Ed) Feldmanis passed away on December 28, 2025. This has been a great loss as many of us saw him as a father figure in our congregation.

Because of how much he has touched so many of our lives, there will be two memorial services for him. On January 18th The Peoples Church of Chicago will honor him during our church service and his Men's Group will have a separate memorial on Saturday February 7th. Below are the details for both.

-Sunday, January 18, 2026, The Peoples Church of Chicago will honor Ati during our church service at 10:00 am.
MLK Room at the ICA/Greenrise Building 4750 N. Sheridan Rd., right across from the reception desk.

Please join us in sharing memories and community in person or on Zoom.

Then stay for coffee, treats and fellowship.

-Saturday, February 7, 2026, the Men's Group will have a memorial service for Ed at 1:00 pm.

Rm 600 of ICA/Greenrise Building 4750 N. Sheridan Rd.

Please share this with any and all who may be interested.

Happy 94th Birthday to the unstoppable legend himself — Mr. T! 🎂🔥🎉💛

From dominating the screen as Clubber Lang in Rocky III 🥊 to becoming an unbreakable force as B.A. Baracus in The A-Team 🚐💥, Mr. T has spent decades inspiring the world with his strength, courage, faith, and larger-than-life presence. His gold chains, tough talk, and fearless energy didn’t just create a character — they created a cultural icon. 💪✨

At 94 years strong, we celebrate a man whose impact goes far beyond entertainment. 🙌❤️
Mr. T continues to remind generations what resilience, heart, and true character look like. From his iconic “I Pity the Fool!” to his unwavering authenticity, he remains a symbol of power, positivity, and purpose.
Happy Birthday to a legend who proved that toughness and kindness can live in the same heart — Mr. T! 👑🔥💛
