Wed March 2; pray for Chicago ad the state of Illinois as we seek a moral budget! Reflect on this question; what would a moral budget fund and priortize? How can we put people, planet, and families ahead of corpo rate greed?

Thursday March 3; 6pm dinner and Illinois revenue crisis presentation at San Lucas United Church of Christ, Join us@ 2914 W North Avenue til about 8:30pm

Friday March 4; create safe space for youth in Humboldt park, San Lucas youth night from 530-730ish pizza and an animated movie.

Final morning prayer of February at Kimball Ave Church! Praying for refugees and immigrants all over the world. In particular; we pray for families fleeing Central America from the US funded drug wars, and in Western Asian, where families face the brutality of our government's foreign polices that defends dictatorships while undermining human rights and democratic movements.

Join us tomorrow (Friday 2/26) for morning prayer around 7 AM at Damen & Milwaukee outside the Bank of America! We will have two more morning prayers before we "switch it up" for the month of March...details to come soon! For now... Saturday 2/27 @ 11:45 AM at San Lucas UCC to pray with sisters and brothers facing displacement and homelessness.

No morning prayer tomorrow So people can pray from their homes tomorrow and sleep in! Workers at McDonald's have asked us to coordinate with the fight for 15 movement for future actions and we don't want jeapordize any organizing efforts going on at specific NW side franchises a thia time.
