Good Afternoon and Happy Thankful Thursday!!

Today's Scripture ✝️The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.
Isaiah 35:1–2, NIV

"Blossom in the Wilderness"

At some point, we all feel stuck in a dry desert place. We’re stuck in a challenge, stuck in the past, stuck in a bad break, in a disappointment, in a hurt. It’s easy to settle there and think, “God has been good to me, but I’ve seen my best days. I’ve had some victories in the past, but it’s been one difficulty after another, struggle and lack.” But God never does His greatest work in your yesterdays; they’re always in your tomorrows. Your greatest victories, your most rewarding moments, the biggest achievements in your life are not in your past; they are still in front of you. You’re about to come into fresh momentum, a growing season, where you’re going to bloom and see new doors open and opportunities come to you. You’re going to see favor that you’ve never seen. It’s going to be uncommon, things you couldn’t make happen. You can’t explain it. It doesn’t make sense. It’s the hand of God. He is breathing on your life in a new way, empowering you to fulfill your purpose.

A Prayer for Today🙏🏽“Father, thank You that You are the Most High God and You never leave me to stagnate in a desert place. Thank You that Your greatest work in my life and my best days are still ahead. I declare that I am going to rejoice and blossom like a crocus in the wilderness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Evening and Happy Blessed Wednesday!!

Today's Scripture ✝️Be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.
Titus 1:8, NIV

"A Disciplined Mind"

Many people are disciplined when it comes to their career. They’re productive, on time, excellent. Some people are disciplined when it comes to their health. They eat right, exercise, and get the right amount of sleep. But when it comes to our thought life, sometimes we’re undisciplined and lack self-control. We let any thought in, then we let it stay and play over and over in our mind. “You never get any good breaks. Everything always goes wrong. It’s not going to change.” We end up living worried, insecure, intimidated, and troubled.

If you’re going to stay in peace, full of faith, expecting God’s favor, you can’t be passive and just think whatever comes into your mind. You can’t give space to thoughts that limit you. You have to have a disciplined mind. You have to be responsible to exercise self-control. You have to keep out the doubts and lies, lock up any deceptive thoughts, and focus on what God says about you, on what He promises you in His Word. Set up a guard over your mind, and you’ll live positive, joyful, and full of faith.

A Prayer for Today🙏🏽“Father, thank You for giving me Your promises to meditate upon. Thank You that Your Word instructs me to be disciplined and to think on things that are true and right, wholesome and pure. I declare that I will exercise self-control over the thoughts playing in my mind and win the battle. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning and Happy Thankful Tuesday!!

Today's Scripture ✝️ “I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.”
Isaiah 46:4, NLT

"Carried"

Where would we be without the God who carries us through the difficulties, who sustains us, who has not let the opposition defeat us, not let the anxiety take root, not let the doubt talk us out of our dreams? Your heavenly Father loves carrying you, and you never get too old for God to carry you. When you’re tempted to worry that you might not make it through a sickness, or you feel overwhelmed by a loss or discouraged by people at work who are not fair, just start thanking Him for carrying you.

You may have things coming against you now, and you don’t see how you can keep going. You could live upset and bitter, but God knows what you’re going through, the struggles, the lonely nights, the unfair situations. He is saying, “I’m going to carry you. I have you close to My heart. You’re in the palm of My hand.” You’re about to feel strength that you’ve never felt, peace when you could be stressed, favor that will make things happen that you couldn’t make happen.

A Prayer for Today🙏🏽“Father, thank You for promising me grace for every difficulty, and thank You for carrying me throughout my lifetime. Thank You that You made me and care about every detail of my life. I declare that nothing that’s coming against me will be too much. I will rest in the palm of Your hand. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Afternoon and Happy Blessed Monday!!

Today's Scripture✝️ This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says to all those I carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: “Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce.”
Jeremiah 29:4–5, NIV

"Prosper in the Difficulty"

Today’s Scripture was spoken to Israelites who were taken into captivity in Babylon. God was telling them, “I’m not going to return you to your homes for a long time, but you don’t have to live defeated while you’re here. You don’t have to give up on your dreams. My plans are to prosper you while you’re in these difficult times.”

We all have times when what we’re hoping for is not happening as fast as we would like. We’re believing for a breakthrough, to meet the right person, to see our family restored, but it’s been a long time. It’s tempting to get sour and lose our passion. But while you’re waiting, instead of dragging through the day, start being productive, building houses so to speak, pursuing dreams, using your gifts. The situation around you doesn’t have to change. God will prosper you despite what’s happening around you. He’s not waiting to bring you out; He’ll prosper you in the difficulty. He’ll show you His goodness and cause you to flourish while you’re not where you want to be.

A Prayer for Today🙏🏽“Father, thank You that Your plans for my life, plans that are full of hope and an abundant future, are not dependent upon the situations around me. Thank You that You can prosper me through every difficulty. I believe that You are the One who is taking me to my destiny in Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Evening and Happy Blessed Sunday!!

Today's Scripture✝️For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 1:20, NIV

"It’s a Promise"

We all have promises that God has put in our heart, things we know He’s spoken to us. It may be how we’re going to see a problem turn around, beat an addiction, or meet the right person. At one time, we knew it was going to happen. We were praying, believing, and passionate about it. But when it’s taking longer than we thought, when we’ve gone through disappointments, negative thoughts start to play louder and louder. “It’s never going to work out.” Too often we let those thoughts drown out what God has spoken to us.

If you’re going to stay in faith, you have to remember what God said. Go back to His promises and start thanking Him for what He told you. Start declaring favor, victory, and healing. Keep your faith stirred up. Keep those promises in the forefront of your mind. God doesn’t tell you something and then not do it. “All of His promises are yes and amen.” It may not happen on your timetable or the way you think, but what God promised is on the way.

Prayer For Today🙏🏽“Father, thank You that Your promises come with Your yes that You are going to do it. Thank You that I can put my amen with Your yes and get in agreement with what You want to do in my life. I believe and declare that Your word is all I need to believe. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning and Happy Blessed Saturday!!

Today's Scripture✝️He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Isaiah 40:29, NIV

"Strength for the Weary"

If you are weary today, the good news is that special strength is coming. Maybe you feel weak and worn down by everything that’s going on. At times you may feel overwhelmed, you’ve lost your passion, and you don’t feel that you’re able to move forward. Don’t be down on yourself because you’re not strong all the time. You’re human. God’s not faulting you. That’s why He is saying, “When you’re weak, I’m going to step in. I’m about to increase your power. I’m about to make you stronger. You’re going to feel a strength that pushes you forward, a power to do what you couldn’t do before.”

God hasn’t forgotten about you. He sees what you’re going through. He sees the battle with that illness, the struggle to raise your children, all those times you’ve gone the extra mile. Right now God is breathing special strength into you. That burden that’s weighed you down is being lifted. This is a turning point. God is reenergizing you with fresh passion, fresh vision. You will have the strength to accomplish all that God puts in your heart.

Prayer For Today🙏🏽“Father, thank You that I can trust You with the weaknesses that I sometimes feel, knowing that You come with power to give me special strength. Thank You for the reminders to always be asking for Your help. I believe that You are supplying me with all I need. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning and Happy Blessed Friday!!

Today's Scripture ✝️And many who had been paralyzed or lame were healed. So there was great joy in that city.
Acts 8:7–8, NLT

"Bigger and Better"

It’s significant that Philip came into a season of great flourishing after he was driven by persecution out of Jerusalem to a city in Samaria. It looked as though nothing good was happening, as though he’d just have to endure the difficulties. But God was using that shaking season to get him in a position to flourish and see His favor and blessings in new ways. Philip saw all kinds of miracles in Samaria that he had never seen in Jerusalem. If he had stayed there, he would have missed the fullness of his destiny.

When you’re doing the right thing and a door closes, someone pushes you away, or the contract suddenly ends, stay in faith. God will open a bigger and better door. Samaria is waiting for you. There’s a place of victory, a place of abundance, a place of flourishing that God has already prepared for you. You’re going to do things you’ve never dreamed, discover gifts you didn’t know you had, and see favor, abundance, and breakthroughs. Just know that your best days are still ahead.

A Prayer for Today🙏🏽“Father, thank You that You know what’s best for me, and You’re pushing and stretching me out of my comfort zone and into my purpose. Thank You for closed doors as well as open doors. I believe that You have something bigger, something better, something more rewarding up in front of me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good Morning and Happy Thankful Thursday!!

Today's Scripture✝️ “For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the LORD sends rain on the land.’”
1 Kings 17:14, NIV

"Beyond the Natural"

At a time of great famine in the land, a widow only had enough oil and flour to make herself and her son one last meal when the prophet Elijah showed up and asked her to make him a loaf of bread. Despite the request that didn’t make sense, she believed the promise that the flour and oil would not run out until the famine ended. And that’s exactly what happened over the next three and a half years.

When you do things God asks you to do that don’t make sense, God will do things that seem impossible. You may look at your circumstances in the natural and think, “I don’t have enough to give some away. I don’t have the talent, the strength, or the finances to help.” But we serve a supernatural God. He knows how to multiply, how to sustain, how to open doors. He can part the Red Sea, bring water out of a rock, and take five loaves and feed a multitude. When you obey when you don’t understand, He has supernatural provision, supernatural healing, supernatural breakthroughs.

A Prayer for Today🙏🏽“Father, thank You for all the ways You provide for me every day. Thank You that when one of those provisions ceases, You are getting me in a position to increase me. I believe that You are stretching me and getting me out of my comfort zone to bring me into greater favor. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
