There’s no better place than being in the presence of God. We had a beautiful evening worshipping Jesus at the Brandon Lake concert. There is a peace and freedom knowing that He meets you wherever you are at: church, a concert, your kitchen, at work, your car, while you serve others. God is even there in all of your moments of imperfection: in sin, while you’re angry, in brokenness, in desperation, in your anxiety, in your unfaithfulness, even in your denial of Him. GOD. IS. ALWAYS. THERE. You only need to open your heart to receiving what He has for you. Everything with eternal goodness is from God. We are not worthy but He made us worthy. He sent Jesus to pay the greatest cost for our soul’s salvation, healing, redemption, and resurrection.
If you are stuck in a muck, you ought to know that “working smarter, not harder” is essential. Stop depending only on your own strength and ability. We’re human, it runs out. “Working smarter, not harder” is understanding your worth as a child of God, surrendering everything to Jesus, and being led by the power of Holy Spirit to endure and do great things, in Jesus’ name.
I am coming off of back to back amazing weekends with our church conference and the concert. The in between days and the days before, for a lack of a better term, is sometimes desperately hard…but GOD…He is forever faithful. He is extraordinarily good. I encourage you with a humble heart, to seek first the kingdom and all will be added (Matthew 6:33). We are living in dark times, and if you are looking for the light, His name is Jesus.
