To say that I am anything less than absolutely thankful and gracious for such an amazing week with , I would be lying. ✨🥰

Authentic friendship shines through. Sometimes you need that person to help you find your way to where God has been pointing to you for so long but you just can’t see it on your own. Through , and the friendly advice from Cecilia, I am learning so much about how your environment truly effects you. Environment runs deep. From where you live, people you hang out with, way you speak with those around you, where you work, the list goes on and on.

I trust that God knows what he is doing, and I am fully giving Him my trust for my future and where He is calling me to, and calling me away from. Change is never easy, and it is something that I have never been a fan of truthfully. I have spent a lot of time with friends recently that are constantly pushing me to dive in deeper with The Lord in what His plan is for me.

Being able to admit that you are not happy, or that you feel like you are being held back because of your environment, doesn’t make you weak, in fact, it takes deep courage that will elevate you higher. For me, there is so much to change in the near future, and I want to thank Jesus for placing friends in my life to help point me to Him when some days I cannot see where I need to go. 😊✨

So much is evolving and changing in my life! The Lord is so good, and this Lenten season has been beyond fruitful. As I get ready to go into finals week I wanted to share an update!!
-
I have been loving my internship with my friend and boss Cecilia. I have been learning so much about the online world of Instagram, and witnessing first hand the beauty of community online. Seeing women grow closer to Christ and putting Jesus in the front and center of their lives is so inspiring, and brings me so much joy.

Also, I cannot believe that I am almost finished already with my junior year of college, where did the time go??

Cecilia recently gave me a candle called “Confidence and Freedom.” As I sit here with it lit, I have been pondering in my heart what these words mean to me. 💕

So lets break it down in Fran’s noggin. 🧠
“Confidence”
The first thing that I thought of was not about having confidence in my outward appearance, or my personality, but the confidence that I have recently gained in my heart for The Lord. What do I mean by this? My heart has been tested a lot recently, on my thoughts and why I stand so firmly in my faith, but in those trials, I can say that I am confident in where The Lord is in my life, and where he needs me in this moment. I feel calm and at peace with my relationship with Him, and I am fully trusting my life to him with my now, and future.

This leads into…
“Freedom”
From this I feel totally free. I am not only confident, and that confidence is growing, but my heart is free to wonder. Because of Him, I am able to be freed from sin, and go into the world and strive to be the best that I can be. I am free to follow His calling for my life. Although I still often wonder where I will end up after I graduate, His love and heart will help guide me where I need to be. What a wonderful feeling it is to know that Jesus has got your back, and He will give you the freedom to follow His will. Even when you feel lost, you can choose Him, love Him, follow Him.

I had this vision a while ago when I was going to various prayer groups and would forget my rosary, I thought to myself about how I know that I LITERALLY needed one attached to me because I move from activity to activity so quickly on the daily basis that I forget sometimes!

Merry Christmas ❤️🌟 Christ was born today and came in the most vulnerable form one could, as a baby! I can only imagine the joy that Mary and Joseph felt when they got to see their little boys face for the first time.

No matter how you are celebrating today, remember that you are loved and important. Keep Christ in today, tomorrow, and always. Let us love just as Jesus loves us! 🥰❤️

Throwback to December 2018. 😊

I wanted to post this throwback to think about how much change has happened since this day. The Lord has had me on a radical journey in Chicago and this is when I was a freshman, in the Business school, and thought I had my wholeeee future planned out to a T.
•
I laugh with myself now and think of all of the radical twists and turns that He has happened since this time. Even though this was only 2 years ago it is wild to think of what has changed, and for the better for sure.
•
Since then...
- Changed my major and added a new minor
- So many new friendships / evolved friendships
- New job on campus that never fails to bring me the greatest joy
- New opportunities that I thought I would never come across, or even thought I would pursue.
- Most importantly, my heart has continued to evolve, I have learned to love not only me, but all of those in my life currently, and those of the past.
•
So much more to come, to change, to grow, and I welcome that for I know that The Lord is holding my hand along the way. ❤️

Building relationships, YES THAT IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!! 😇

Being involved within the business school in college, I have learned that I have grown not so fond of the word “networking”
•
They tell us to create profiles on Linked in and “build your network”
•
IM GONNA SAY IT
I highly dislike that thought process and term. 
•
In my opinion, networking makes us seem like a bunch of robots just using one another. Building relationships puts a whole different perspective and thoughts on how we communicate with one another. When we build relationships, we are seeking out to get to know the person that is beyond the screen or just their title at their job. We want to know what they like to add into their morning coffees, what motivates them, how did they get where they are, or where they want to be.
•
My dad always said for so long that he does not like to look at the people that he works with as his network but to see them for who they are. Building that relationship, asking how the family is, what they did on the weekends. It shows that we are HUMAN. We are not our titles. 
•
When we wear name badges they typically say, “Hello my name is…Francesca” it DOES NOT say, “Hello my name is…Organizational Communications Major with Minors in Business Management and Catholic Studies, Communications Coordinator in Catholic Campus Ministry at DePaul, Purchasing Assistant, etc.…….”  
•
IT SAYS MY NAME. If you know me, I am all about people's names, the history behind it and why they go by a certain nickname, etc. You are YOU, and you are radically loved and known. 🥰
•
LIVE BY THAT! Building relationships can open doors that you never even knew were there. Remember God has a plan, be open to it.
