☀️ GOOD MORNING — WEEKEND ENCOURAGEMENT ☀️
People often say, “God knows my heart.”
But have you ever paused to consider what those words truly mean?
Yes, God knows your heart—and sometimes we do not even fully understand our own. That is why His Word invites us to look honestly within and allow Him to reveal what needs to change.
The Bible says:
“The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?”
— Jeremiah 17:9 (NIV)
This Scripture reminds us that God sees beyond the words we speak and the image we present to others. Nothing is hidden from Him. He knows the motives behind our actions and the thoughts we may try to conceal.
We may cover bitterness, greed, jealousy, selfishness, or unforgiveness with “good intentions,” but God sees what is truly in our hearts. Therefore, instead of simply saying, “God knows my heart,” let us prayerfully ask:
“Is my heart pleasing to God?”
That question should lead us not to shame, but to surrender. Give your heart completely and sincerely to Jesus, trusting Him to cleanse what is impure, renew what is broken, and guide you in His ways.
As David prayed, we can pray:
🙏🏾 “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10 (NIV)
May God search your heart, draw you closer to Him, and fill you with His peace as you seek to live for Him.
Have a blessed, peaceful, and beautiful weekend. 🙏🏾✌🏾❤️
