Chesterfield County Choral Society Join us to sing a variety of fun and challenging music! Members are all ages, from all walks of life, bound by the desire to sing “worthy music, well-prepared”.

The Chesterfield County Choral Society is a community singing group that performs for assisted living facilities and public concerts at Chester Presbyterian Church, Chester, VA. The Chesterfield County Choral Society (CCCS) is a SATB choral group that performs a range of musical selections from Bach to Broadway for each of its two annual seasons. There are always openings in all sections for singe

rs age 16 or older! AUDITIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED AND MEMBERS DO NOT HAVE TO RESIDE IN CHESTERFIELD COUNTY. The Fall Season for CCCS begins in September and meets every Tuesday night at Chester Presbyterian Church (corner of Route 10 and Osborne, Chester) from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.to prepare Winter Holiday music. The Spring Season begins in January and also meets every Tuesday at the same time. The spring program consists of sacred, secular and patriotic music. There is a public program for each season at Chester Presbyterian Church as well as on site performances at assisted living facilities. Members have the opportunity to sing a variety of music and enjoy musical camaraderie culminating in concerts that we hope make those in attendance more joyful.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our fearless leader, Peter Furbush. After an amazing concert this past Tuesday, he awoke the next morning not feeling well. He was gone from us by the end of that evening. There will be a memorial service this coming Tuesday evening, 12/9, starting at 6:30 p.m. The location is J T Morriss funeral home, Hopewell.
