As we come to the end of another week, take a moment to look back and thank God for carrying us through.

No matter what this week held, the victories, the struggles, the answered prayers, or the prayers we’re still waiting on, God has been faithful through it all.

As the weekend approaches, we’d love for you to make plans to join us this Sunday at Cherry Log Baptist Church. Come as you are and spend time worshiping, praying, and hearing God’s Word together.

There’s no better way to begin a new week than in the house of the Lord with your church family. ❤️

Also, our Pastor, Kenny, is still taking the necessary time to recover after heart surgery so please don’t let up praying for him!

🏠 DAY 6 UPDATE 🏠

We are so thankful to share that Kenny is home and doing wonderfully!🙏 He will be spending the next few weeks resting and healing.

The love, prayers, calls, texts, and support shown to Kenny and his family have been overwhelming in the very best way. They are so incredibly grateful and thank each and every one of you from the bottom of their hearts.

As mentioned in previous posts, recovery will be a little slow, so if you reach out and don’t receive an immediate response, please know that they are receiving your messages and are appreciative of every single one. Right now, the focus is simply on giving Kenny the rest and time his body needs to heal.

Please continue to keep Kenny and his family in your prayers as he recovers. We are so thankful for how far he has come and for God’s continued goodness and faithfulness. ❤️🙏

🙏 DAY 4 UPDATE 🙏

Another wonderful update on our Pastor, Kenny!

He is doing great! All of his cardiac lines have been removed, and his vitals have remained stable. He’s been getting up and walking about every 3–4 hours and continues to make steady progress.

One of the cardiologists came by earlier, and if everything continues to go well, they are hopeful that Kenny may be able to come home within the next 48 hours! 🙌

Thank you all so much for every prayer, call, text, and word of encouragement. We truly believe those prayers are being heard, and we are so thankful for how well Kenny is doing.

Please continue to keep Kenny, Becky, and the family in your prayers as he continues to recover.

✝️ DAY 3 UPDATE ✝️

God is so good, and the prayers are working! We are so thankful to share that Kenny continues to make steady progress.

Today’s goal has been to get him up and walking as much as possible while keeping his blood pressure under control. He is continuing to move in the right direction, one step at a time!

Becky has also been able to get some much needed rest, and everyone is in good spirits. The church as well as Kenny and his family are so grateful for every prayer, call, text, and word of encouragement.

Please continue to lift Kenny, Becky, their family, and his medical team up in prayer. We know God is hearing every one of them, and we are praising Him for the progress we are seeing!

❤️ UPDATE DAY 2 ❤️

Good Morning friends! Kenny’s surgeon came in today and is very pleased with the progress thus far. Kenny is extremely sore which is to be expected. The goal over the next few days is to make slow but steady progress starting with having him sitting up in a chair which he’s doing today.

As Kenny continues to recover, the family wants everyone to know how incredibly grateful they are for every call, text, message, and prayer.

If you don’t receive a response right away, please know that your messages are being seen and are so very appreciated. Right now, their focus is on Kenny’s recovery and getting him stronger each day.

Thank you all for continuing to surround Kenny and his family with so much love, support, and prayer. Please keep those prayers coming! 🙏❤️

Kenny is out of surgery. His surgeon said everything went well. He is currently in recovery. Thank you all for your prayers. Please continue to pray for his recovery.

We ask our church family and community to lift him up in praying for God’s hand to be upon him throughout the surgery. Please pray for wisdom and steady hands for the doctors and medical team, for a smooth and successful procedure, and for strength and healing as he begins his recovery.

Please also keep his family in your prayer, asking God to give them peace, comfort, and strength as they wait.

🙏 Calling all prayer warriors!🙏

Please join us in lifting up our pastor, Kenny Hagin, as he prepares to undergo open-heart surgery on Wednesday, September 23rd.

We ask that you pray for God to place His healing hands upon Brother Kenny, to guide the hands of every doctor, surgeon, and nurse caring for him, and to give him strength, peace, and comfort as he goes through surgery and recovery.

Please also keep his family in your prayers, that God will surround them with peace and remind them that He is right there with them every step of the way.

We know there is power in prayer and we would love to have as many prayer warriors as possible covering Kenny in prayer in the days leading up to his surgery and throughout his recovery.

What a wonderful message from our guest preacher, Cody Ray, today!

When there’s a bump in the road or it feels like the odds are against you, just keep moving forward and don’t give up. Hold on to God, and He will be with you through it all.

Keep serving God even through the hard seasons. Someone without hope may be watching your life and see the hope you have in Jesus and find that same hope for themselves.

“If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” — 1 Corinthians 15:19

Keep the faith. Keep serving. Keep moving forward. 🙏❤️

Today, Pastor Kenny Hagin read from Luke 15:11-14 and the story of the prodigal son. A reminder that we were never meant to make it on our own.

The world doesn’t have the peace we’re searching for. There is a better way, a better home, and a better ending found in our Heavenly Father.

God won’t force us to come back kicking and screaming, but when we turn toward Him, He is there with open arms, just like the father welcoming his son home.

**Make your home with Jesus. He will never forsake His people.**

As we begin a new week, let's stay connected to the One who gives us strength, hope, and peace. Take time this week to pray, read God's Word, and seek His guidance in all that you do.

As children of God, let's also be intentional about encouraging others. Ask the Lord to place someone on your heart who may need a kind word, a prayer, or a reminder that they are loved. You never know how much your encouragement can mean.

And let's be mindful of those around us who may be searching for hope. A simple invitation to church could be the first step in someone's journey to Christ. Don't underestimate what God can do through one invitation.

“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do." 1 Thessalonians 5:11

May the Lord bless you, keep you close to Him, and use you to be a light to those around you this week.
